Mazaya had actually lost control. You could see it. Gold was swirling around her and she thought she had been thinking to herself but she actually had been talking out loud for the last few minutes now. Every thing Luther, Lucas and Christopher had said was because Mazaya gave them the ammo they needed.
"I need to escape before I lose it again."; "I can do this it's fine, out of sight out of mind"; "My hands are tingling again."; "This can't be happening I did everything right"; "My confidence has left the building along with my sanity and control." All of this was something said out loud not in her head.
The moment Mazaya had laid eyes on Christopher they all knew. Her eyes turnt a gold like no other and the gold glowing on her hands was unmistakable. She stood there for a good time looking. It was like her mind was moving slower than actual time. They all watched her with interest. After Christopher reached his hand out her eyes started to glow. Whenever he smiled she lost alittle bit more control.
If Luther was any other God he would've been jealous but he knew Mazaya loved him and he would rule nomatter what. Mazaya was his now and forever. The love she had for Christopher was from before him. Mazaya was only suppose to love one person forever but because of the instability that happened when she was younger Luther was able to take a place In her heart to.
Luther officially believed Christopher's memories because of the Gold power radiating off of her and because of how unstable she was right now. Christopher's memories were the only ones they could trust since even when she supposedly restored their memories they still were the altered ones. Whatever Christopher remembered she didn't want anybody to ever find out so she took Christopher out of her life all together.
It made sense, if it was love she would've eventually given Christopher his memories back. She let Christopher be with his wife and was with Luther in the memory that Christopher showed them. What made Luther question it is that when she found out Christopher was working with them that's when she took Christopher's memories. What if she just used that as an excuse to alter his memories. What did Christopher know that Mazaya was going through all this trouble to hide it.
Lucas had almost the same thought process as he was watching her. She was beyond unstable just by seeing Christopher, so the question was why. Once he figured that out everything else would follow. Christopher obviously cared about Mazaya before the whole memory fiasco.
As everyone was deep in thought Mazaya started to get restless. The thoughts in her were consuming her so She teleported out of Luther's hands. If a God was touched by another both Gods would teleport. What Mazaya did was impossible. Mazaya left out the room all together. Luther instantly started to panic. How did she even teleport. "Look for my wife in all the rooms now." Luther told a maid that he had summoned instantly.
After no such luck of finding her. Luthers eyes were the color of midnight. He couldn't control his anger right now. "Fuck this is bad you need to do a location spell now." Lucas said while gritting his teeth. "How did she teleport anyways?" Christopher asked. This was really bad she was an unstable mess and she could be anywhere right now. It would take forever if they couldn't locate her with a spell.
Luther was worried about her running into The God of Light or one of the people that he made the blood oath too. He refused to go back to square one. "Im looking you know what Christopher use her magic on me. We can't let her run around. There are to many worst case scenarios and I would rather not have one of them happen." Luther said his anger clear as day. If he went back from all the progress he made he would go on a rampage.
"Okay you can start to look." Christopher said as his magic was wrapping around Luther. He was still working on using his magic since it had been so long since he used it. Luckily magic was like riding a bike a couple of mistakes and you got it again. Luther was using alot of power to find her. "Found her. Let's go." Luther said after nearly a hour without even thinking they all were heading out to grab Mazaya.
