The Goddess of Time

Asera Odinsdottir. The first daughter of Odin. She was gifted in not only the arts of a warrior but aswell as the use of magic. Of course, most of her prowess in the use of magic comes from her eyes that glow brightly green, and seem to hold the power of the cosmos. Follow her journey through Asguard and the rest of the MCU. The story is being rewritten as I didn't like how I wrote the previous version. I hope you enjoy the new and hopefully better version more. Also, I should note that this is a crossover universe. The universes are the MCU, Percy Jackson, Fate, and Harry Potter. I don't own the cover.

That Time a Goddess got a Training Arc

705 B.C - Land of Shadows: Training Grounds

Asera laid on the ground, blood having turned her white hair red. She let out a pained groan, her grip on her spear having long left her grip.

"Stand, if you can't beat someone on the verge of death, you might as well put down your spear for good." Scáthach said, standing a few meters away from Asera.

Asera gave a faint nod, standing up after a large struggle. The goddess dispelled her last spear, conjuring a new one.

Asera was healing at a visible rate, even the blood in her hair disappearing. After a minute of observing Scáthach, Asera realized the woman wouldn't make the first move, so the goddess waited until she had completely healed, which only took a few moments, and she rushed back into the fight.

704 B.C - Land of Shadows: Training Grounds

Two blurs rushed around the training grounds, neither giving ground to the other. The purple blur struck out, only for the white blur to jumped back at slash at the purple one.

"Well done Asera, you have progressed to the point of me not being able to hit you, and whilst you can't hit me either, that will be fixable in a year's time." Scáthach said, looking at the twelve year old girl.

Asera let out a large smile, rushing towards Scáthach, seemingly ready to attack, yet the girl simply put her arms around the woman; a hug.

Scáthach let out a soft smile, hugging the girl who had come to be something of a younger sister to her in the last year.

703 B.C - Land of Shadows: Library

Asera sat in the library, Scáthach sitting opposite to her. The goddess had long since mastered the art of wielding a spear, so by Asera's request, Scáthach began teaching the girl rune magic.

They had been practicing in the arts of rune magic, and Asera had even been able to gift Scáthach a few Primordial Runes that she didn't even know existed. This was because she had stolen a book from Odin before she left Asgard on such runes.

So, the two women had been learning the primordial runes, and once that was done, Scáthach had begun teaching Asera all the runes that she knew.

It hadn't taken long for the girl to master all of the runes she showed her, after all, her father had created the most powerful runes in the universe.

700 B.C - Land of Shadows: Castle Entrance

A sixteen year old Asera stood at the entrance to the castle, Scáthach next to her, sending her off.

The last three years had been nothing but a non-stop battle. Once she had mastered runes, Scáthach took it upon herself to make sure that Asera could effectively use all the runes in combat.

Of course, this also helped Asera's instinct and reflexes far more than it did her battle runes.

The two embraced, Asera not wanting to say goodbye, but she knew that she didn't have much time until Odin came for her.

After all, he had let her stay on Midgard for more time than she had expected, but she knew it was only a matter of time before she was forced back.

So, the girl decided she would try and improve as much as possible, learn as much magic as possible, and maybe, just maybe, she could end up fighting back against Odin, and not having to go back to that realm of traitors.

Asera left the embrace, her eyes slightly glossy. "I'll miss you, but since you're immortal, I can always come visit."

Asera said that, a sad smile on her face, not wanting to leave, but she knew that as she was, she couldn't be Odin or the eventual army that came for their princess.

"Don't forget Asera, you'll always have a place in my castle." Scáthach said, not any happier than Asera about the goddess leaving. "But, before I forget, I do have a gift for you."

Asera looked at Scáthach inquisitively, before the older woman handed her a white spear that looked exactly like her own.

"I call this spear, Gáe Luvi, like my own spear, it was crafted from the skull of Currid."

Asera gently held the spear that Scáthach had handed her. "Thank you, Scáthach, I'll give Odin a stab or two for you."

Scáthach let out a chuckle before sending the young goddess off.

700 B.C - Asgard: Throne Room

Six years ago, Heimdall could no longer find where Asera had gone. So, Odin had no choice but to wait until he could retrieve his daughter back.

Then, minutes ago, Heimdall came to the throne room, telling Odin that his daughter had surfaced once more. So, now Odin only had to find where she was going and beat her there, then he could contain the danger she posed once more.

Sorry for the shorter chapter, but it seemed a great place to end the chapter and I didn't want to just put pointless filler inside the chapter.
