129 A Holiday Chapter (2)

Syra looked down on her one year old children and fell to the floor in exhaustion. They were definitely a bigger bunch than she wanted to handle. "Kai, have Lily and Wes arrived yet?"

They were expecting visitors for the holidays. Lily was happy because finally Clain could walk, run, do everything on his own. Syra pretty much envied her, but there was no doubt that she loved her kids. "No. Are the kids dressed?"

"Sort of." Syra didn't want to lie but neither of her children were born with a desire to be dressed. Everytime she tried to dress them they would just take their clothes right off. Kai appeared at the front of the door to their room and saw the kids crawling around happily.

He raised his eyebrow at his wife. "They're naked."

"I never said they were dressed." Kai laughed at his beautiful wife and quickly helped her dress them before heading back into the dining room to help set up the table.

"Finally, aren't we lucky we have daddy? Yes we are." Syra was make shifting a baby voice when she heard the knocks on the door. She took her kids into her arms and moved on into the living room where she found the family.

"Hey there!" Lily was so happy to see Syra. Lily took Kavira into her arms trying to help her friend out while Clain greeted everyone. He was quite obedient but he still hadn't to play with the children. "Honey, they can't play with you. They're still too small."

Clain was ancient to play with the little girl especially, he thought she was really pretty with her ember eyes and two front growing teeth. "we did bring you all gifts as a holiday festivity." Wes passed around a couple of wooden boxes, each with a different name.

"These are wonderful, thank you all. We actually have something for you as well." Syra looked up at her husband and he understood what she was asking of him. He went down the hall and into their room brining out two blankets. One for the happily married couple and one for Clain.

After they said their thank you's they went on to eat dinner and enjoy the rest of the night with a hot coco. In outer rim of the east it never snowed. As dry and ache as it is, it stays that way all year long.

Syra had given permission for Clain to stay with the children while the adults talked around the dining table. He was happy to bring Kavira and Lucas along with him, he threw a few balls around trying to amuse them and it worked.

Kavira crawled to the ball but not getting there before Clain ran to it. She giggled and placed her hand on his arm, a burst of power surged from her body, not once did she stop giggled. Clain could feel something different had just happened, this was no ordinary magic. But he ignored it and continued on playing with the children.

The adults looked over with a loving gaze. Such a happy holiday.
