What It Takes To Kill A Wyvern

With full force, Secim rushed deeper and deeper to the location Lua pointed towards. It was a smart Jolin, it knew exactly what its rider was trying to say. Lua looked nervously behind him, making sure that the Wyvern couldn't catch up to them. They still had some more seconds to dash, and if it caught up to them during that period, it would be all over.

The Wyvern was gaining on them. It had seemingly gotten out of its initial unfamiliarity with the bone-like spirals of the area, and instead of being slowed down by it, had adapted to it. It was gaining more and more speed by the second, only being stumped by the occasional pillar.

It opened its jaw as it had managed to get very close to the duo, and would soon devour them fully. The Wyvern nearly had them in its grasp.

It extended its jaws far apart, ready to devour them. It bit forwards, ready to obtain a new meal. However, before it could close those jaws, something unpredictable occurred.
