Bargaining With The Dead

"Kekekeke..." The ghost chuckled from behind, from where the dagger was laying on the table. "You are a sharp human!"

A white orb began to lift off from the dagger, a sight which Lua turned just in time to witness. The orb whizzed around for a certain period of time before stopping in front of Lua's face. The orb was relatively the same size as Lua's pinky finger, but glowed brilliant like a miniature lamp.

"Admit it, you were scared!" The white orb began to speak.

Lua shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Not in the slightest."

The orb began to whiz around even faster. "You're lying! You're lying! You're lying! I totally saw your face contort with fear!"

Lua shook his head again, ducking to avoid the reckless flying of the white orb. "If you show me a fresh bleeding corpse, of course I am going to be disturbed."
