I gulped in fear while trying to get out of his hold," I am not your toy that you'll sleep with me whenever you please and later Ignore me like I don't exist" He froze as I said the truth out loud with courage, "This is over!" saying that, I freed myself from his hold and raised my finger at him,"Don't you dare cross my path again or I promise you I will make your life hell!" He stood there trying to recover from the shock while I walked out with my newfound pride and honour. Eddie never understood love at least he thought he did by doing things in his own twisted ways; While Kayleigh knew love but she never found it in a man, or will she find it any day soon?

Beth asked me if she could go watch Haley, promising me that she won't wake her up and she ran to see her the moment I nodded. It was just him and me in the living room now, he was looking around the house taking in everything while I asked him, "Jay would you like a beer, soda or something?" He nodded, "oh yes, a beer sounds good." I walked in the kitchen to get him a beer while he followed me, "When did u start drinking beer? I thought you despise beer!"

I got up and pulled a beer can for Jay and poured myself a glass of white wine, Jay was giving me a glance wondering if I started drinking beer. "No, I still don't drink beer. We have stored it for Sam and Daniel they often drink beer while watching movies."

Jay popped open the beer can and took a Sip from it, "So have you thought on how you're going to confront Eddie? or what If he finds out he is the father?" Colours drained from my face, "Jay to be honest I haven't thought about it, I have been dreading about it a lot. I fear that if he finds out he has a daughter, I fear he will take my baby away from me. He is definitely going to take advantage of his money and power!" Jay took another sip and kept the can on the table, "You're right, but you have raised her so well and I don't think he can ever win Haley's custody if ever drags you to the court. But Kay there is one thing I think you should know." I asked in concern, "What is it Jay?" He thought for a couple of seconds before speaking, "I think it's since the time you left him, he has changed. He is not the same man anymore! I would suggest think before you make any decision after all he has every right to know. Maybe he will have a change of heart after meeting Haley, she is such a wonderful kid." I nodded sipping wine not wanting to answer on that topic while Jay took another big chug of his beer, I wonder what took Beth so long I hope Haley didn't wake up with her presence. "So are you seeing someone?" Jay shook me out of my thoughts, "No, I mean not really I barely get time for myself since Haley has come in my life not that I mind but I don't think I am ready to let anyone enter in my or Haley's life." Jay was looking in my eyes to find any truth, "so you are still very much in love with him? Tsk Tsk!" A single tear escaped my eye, "I know he is the father of my child and I haven't seen anyone after him but I haven't forgiven him yet" Beth came back in the living room breaking the tension between us, "Kay I am so in love with my goddaughter, I am so excited to spend more time with her but for now we both need to go home and get some sleep. I don't know about Jay but I definitely have work tomorrow. What do you say Jay?" Jay took another large sip of beer and got up from the couch, "Yes, I have a meeting tomorrow at 9 with a client from Korea. Kay, I can't tell you how much I hate waking up on Monday mornings." Me and Beth laughed remembering how he dreads Mondays but Jay continued "Anyways what are you both doing on Wednesday afternoon, I want to go shopping for Haley since I haven't got her anything yet, so Kay I would need your help as I don't know what she likes and doesn't; also let me remind you I have zero experience about baby shopping." Beth cut in before I could answer, "I would have loved to give you both company, but I am flying to Napa Tuesday morning for a seminar and I will be back on Friday. Kay, do you think I can come over on Saturday?" I felt so good that both of them are already trying to be a part of our lives, I smiled and replied, "Jay that's really not necessary, I am sure Haley loves you already." I looked over to Beth, "Beth you can come over whenever you want to, you don't need to take my permission." Beth squealed in excitement and Jay continued to insist me, "please Kay I insist, I only have one god daughter and I would love to spoil her with my love. I promise we won't spend much. Please please please just say yes." I gave in, there is no way he will stop, god I missed them so much, "Alright alright, Wednesday it is then!" They both left immediately after I agreed to go shopping with him, I bid them both bye and closed the door after they left. I walked in to my room took a shower and changed in to pyjamas, I laid on the bed looking at the ceiling and wondering how it all changed all of a sudden Haley has her aunt and uncle in her life now and it won't be too long before he finds out about our 'little secret', I wonder how will all that be and slowly I drifted off to sleep.
