"Old Li, where are you?" he softly shouted while walking. He made his way to the black stairway to search for something. Yet he found nothing, so he turned around to go back.

Hearing a creaking sound from the stairs, similar to the footsteps of some large animal - heavy yet light - the man, felt a feeling that only a full-blown predator could invoke.

The man trembled because he thought there might be a lion, a tiger, or something behind him.

It may have been due to biological instincts of fear or inner curiosity that made the man stiffly turn his head towards it. He listened to the sound come closer and closer; despite wanting to run but unable to summon the energy to do so, his heart reverberated with each accompanying step.

There was a strong desire in him to see what lay behind him.

His neck turned, and what he saw was an abomination tainted in crimson.

A huge body that could only crawl across the floor, a back wide enough to cover a small car, and thick thighs that were the size of an average adult's body.

This beast has broad arms, a chiselled chin, sword-like eyebrows, and starry eyes that give it a rich and handsome appearance.

Large hands stretched out to gently pick up its meal, and the beast's palm covered with blood dripped ever so softly on the man's body.

"M… Monster!"

The man's lower half was unrecognizable as his guts and intestines were splayed all over the ground. The man's head was taken with a crunch, followed by plenty of pulling and picking, and another meal was caught...
