Lance looked through the available missions and took the patrol. He knew this one would grant him experience. And give him a chance to try out his new skills.

After accepting the mission, the pair quickly left the city and headed to the forest. They traveled for some time but had yet to come across any monsters.

"Maybe we should slow down on the hunting, it has been an hour and we haven't found anything." Usually, Lance finds at least a pack of wolves by now. He changed it up a bit, searching places he hasn't been before, but still have yet to come across anything.

"I don't think that's the issue." Vixen was keeping an eye on the time and their current location. They have gone deeper than before, but still, she didn't want to spend all night outside.
