36. I Will Find Them!

A space station sits in the black void of space. There are no planets or stars near this station, but countless ships dock and leave from it. Wormholes open up around the station constantly. The Station wasn't anything special. It looked like regular satellites that were seen on earth, but nearly one hundred times the size, with several rings, circling it.

On the space station deep in the Shattered Star System. An older man dressed in black with a hood and mask covering his face sat in a bar-type establishment, he sat at a table alone in a back corner staring at the doorway.

Three burly men walked into the bar, chatting with one another. The tallest man had dreadlocks, green scaly skin, and reptilian eyes. He was a Hontarrian. The two shorter men on either side of him had brown hair, and both had orange skin. They were Malarksons.

The Hontarrian was talking loudly as they entered, "Did you see that Terran bitch", he let out a sinister laugh. "If the boss didn't stop me, I'd already had my way with her." He had a deep, raspy voice to match his scruffy appearance.

The three men sit at the bar and order some drinks, laughing with each other, and talking about a woman on their ship.

The man in black watched the men closely and listened to everything they said. "Found her." After listening for a while, he got up from his chair and walked over to the men. Without thinking or pausing, he pulled a dagger from his sleeve. He stood behind one of the smaller Malarksons, and with a swift movement, he slit his throat. Blood poured out all over the bar, covering the poor bartender in her white shirt. She screamed out, but in a flash, the other Malarkson had his throat slit. The Honterrian jumped up, but before he could act, a gun was pointed at his head.

The man in black took the two out in a single heartbeat. As he looked at the Hontarrian, "You must be Berrdu, Where is your ship?"

Berrdu froze, but he was taller and stronger than this alien in front of him, and he felt he could do some damage before the man in black had a chance to move, "Fuck you, I won't....."

Bang!

The man in black shot out Berrdu's knee. As Berrdu rolled around in pain, the man in black spoke "Next time I won't be so nice."

With his knee out, he would only be able to limp away. If this man decided, he could kill Berrdu in a second. "Fuck you man, You don't....."

Bang!

This time Berrdu's ear got blown off, "You only need one ear to hear. Last warning!" With two guns pointing at Berrdu's head, he asked one last time.

"F-fuck. Okay, don't shoot. B-Dock, Gate 22."

Bang!

With the Information he was looking for, He didn't need Berrdu anymore.

After taking care of what he needed, he threw some money on the counter and left the bar, he began heading to the docks.

On the bridge of a spaceship, a big reptilian man sat in a chair in the center, looking at a tablet in his hand. He was bald, with the same green reptilian skin as Berrdu, only darker.

Beside him sat a woman on the floor. She wore a white, see-through gown, with nothing underneath., revealing her natural human features. She had a thick metal collar with some flashing red and green lights, and a chain connected to the chair the reptilian man sat on. Her long blue hair was a complete mess, and blue and yellow marks could be seen on her body. She looked down at the floor, unmoving.

"Get ahold of Berrdu and let him know we're leaving. I wanna be out of this system before the Coalition finds us" The Honterrian captain spoke to his crewmen.

"Right away Captain Bandaar" A Golarian sitting at the com's station started typing away on a computer. After a few minutes of trying to reach Berrdu and failing, he turned to the captain "Sir, Berrdu isn't responding."

Angrily, Bandaar slammed his fist on the chair, "Then send someone to get that son of a bitch or we'll leave him behind." He threw the tablet from his hand at a wall. "That bastard better get his ass back here."

The Golarian at the com's turned around, and after some more time, he received a message from the station. "Sir, Berrdu is dead. He was found at the tavern with multiple gunshots."

"WHAT!" Bandaar stood from his chair, "Find the bastard that killed him, NOW!" Everyone on the bridge started to rush around. Typing away on computers trying to get any info they could.

Suddenly, the power of the bridge went out. For the briefest of moments, it was pitch black, with a light red glow from the emergency lights.

Clank! Shink! Bang! Thud!

When the lights came back on, everyone was either decapitated, stabbed, or shot. Except for Bandaar, looking wildly around at the corpses and the captive woman, still sitting looking at the floor.

"Wha the fu....." Bandaar got cut off by a blade pressed to his neck.

"Tell me, did you hit her?" The man in black stood behind Bandaar, holding the knife tightly to Bandarr's neck.

"Who the fuc...." Bandaar couldn't finish. His throat was slit the moment he decided to not answer.

"Doesn't matter anyway. I was planning on killing you." the man stood over Bandaar as he watched the life leave his body. After he made sure Bandaar was dead, he walked over to the woman and broke her chains.

Finally out of her daze, she looked at the man who broke her chains. "Who....." She stopped herself, she knew all too well what happens when she speaks. Instinctively she flinched and covered her face.

The man pulled out a device and held it to the collar. With a few beeps and flashes, the collar opened and fell to the ground. "Ally, I finally found you!" The man spoke with a hint of excitement in his voice.

"D-dan?" Ally spoke, not caring about the consequences, and looking to the man before her.

The man pulled off his hood and pulled down his mask, revealing his face. "Yeah sweetie, it's me," Dan spoke with a lot of compassion. understanding the ordeal she must have gone through.

"D-d-dan. Y-you're finally h-here. I-I-I w-waited and waited. I-I knew you'd c-come! I never lost hope in all these years!" With a huge smile and a sense of relief, she spoke brokenly. Tears flowed down her face as she cried out.

"Years?! What do you mean? It's only been a few months!" Dan couldn't understand. To him, he's only been traveling the galaxy for five months. How could she be experiencing years?

"It's been five years since I last saw you and Lance. Five years since that ship, or whatever it was, appeared." Truly it has been five years for her. But it was also only five months for Dan.

Curious, Dan summoned the AI he awoke with, 'Alpim'. As soon as he called out, a white oval-shaped entity appeared in his view. 'How long have I been traveling this galaxy?'

'Five months sir. You know this.' The AI answered in a soft male voice with the knowledge he had.

'Then how did my wife experience five years?' Now getting angry, Dan questioned his AI.

'I don't know. That's very curious. She indeed experienced five years. The radiation on her shows this to be true.' The AI scanned Ally, trying to find any answers to this phenomenon.

'What the fuck is going on here.' Dan was baffled. The numbers just don't add up. He needed answers, but he had a mission to complete. With Ally safe, his next objective was Lance.
