Who was at Ai's Door?

The next day was the weekend, but Thomas called spies, saying that there was good news for them all. Everyone was thrilled to hear that; for the first time, Thomas had spoken to them politely.

So, he began the discussion.

"So, our efforts have finally borne fruit. I have found Ai. Moreover, I know that the baby lives with her. They even left the city thinking we would not be able to find them. But I know very well where they are living."

All spies became so happy, thinking now Thomas would pay them for their efforts except Uncle's student. He was so upset that he failed to obstruct Thomas from accessing Ai.

Being disappointed inside, he showed happiness on his face so nobody would doubt him. But he wanted to go in-depth on the matter and obstruct Thomas's way to reach Ai.

While congratulating Thomas, he asked about his main query in a friendly tone:

"I'm so happy, sir, that we are successful in our task. By the way, how was it possible, and where does Ai live?"

The Uncle's student was in the illusion that he was keeping Thomas in illusion. In spite, he was in the illusion on his own, and Thomas knew everything.

Thomas was not mad enough to tell him anything regarding that. While smoothly placing his hand on the Uncle's student shoulder, he said:

"I have locked that secret under my tongue; the secret that was not cheap enough to be exposed in the form of a few words that will blow in the air and will spread it to everyone."

"Hahaha! Sir, I don't know what you mean. But it's ok".

The Uncle's student disappointingly responded and went from there. After reaching his home, he called the Uncle and explained everything.

Ai and Uncle felt totally helpless. The one who could help them was the Prime Minister, and that had been frozen.

Ai went towards Quinn and took him on her lap. She was grabbing him with a great strength that satisfied her that no one could take him from her.

In the depression, she shared her feelings with her Uncle.

"Uncle, I'm feeling extremely tense. Thomas was just going to reach here. He will take my baby and misuse him. He will sell him in any lab and ...." Ai suddenly paused, overcoming her emotions.

Uncle was such a self-controlled and smart person to tackle any emergency. He encouraged Ai with his supporting words.

"My dear daughter, you can't change the present, but you can change the future that will definitely be your present soon. So, instead of wasting time overcoming your emotions, give your full focus on resolving this matter. So, you'll not have to overcome your emotions forever".

Ai felt energetic after Uncle's words. Both discussed the matter for a long time. They considered that Thomas had the power to reach anywhere they went. So, moving here and there was not a useful choice.

Even after a lengthy discussion, they failed to find a proper solution. Finally, they decided that they would involve the Uncle's student in that matter. He would keep on updating them for every next step Thomas would take in finding Ai. In that way, they would instantly handle the matter keeping all things in front.

There were only two days remaining in the time machine completion. So, Thomas informed his spies that they would go to Ai's house after two days.

The spies did not agree to that decision. One spy tried to convince Thomas.

"Sir, as it's your opinion, it'll definitely be useful. But it'll be great if we find her as soon as possible. We shouldn't be late in this case. What if she escapes anywhere in these two days".

Thomas was stuck on his decision. He told spies that he had made this decision with much effectiveness and farsightedness. They don't know the secret behind that. They would appreciate him on their own after enjoying the results of that decision.

Uncle and Ai became too satisfied when the spy told them that Thomas would reach them after two days.

They considered that Thomas must be keeping an eye on them. So, they decided to spend two days in the same house. So, Thomas intended to reach there, and when he was about to reach there, they would leave for some other place.

Quinn, who knew everything, was just viewing everything like the audience of the live drama. His mind was mature, and he could even read anyone's mind. However, he was feeling helpless like a mature person deprived of listening, speaking, and responding.

He had decided that he wouldn't ever go with Thomas. Instead, he would do anything for his protection using his powers.

At 02:00 am, when Ai, Quinn, and Uncle were having a sound sleep, the door knocked. Ai suddenly awoke and instantly roused Uncle from his sleep.

Uncle observing Ai's tension asked her to be satisfied and said there must be a traveler because any thief or wrong person wouldn't come by knocking on the door. But Ai wasn't afraid of any thief. She was afraid of Thomas. She thought any time he would come and take Quinn with him. That was why she was asking Uncle to don't open the door.

Uncle tried to make Ai relaxed that his student had clearly informed that Thomas would come after two days and that he worked with proper planning. He couldn't reach there randomly anytime.

For the first time in her life, Uncle's words were not satisfying Ai. Instead, her heart was constantly claiming that there must be any danger waiting for Quinn at the door.

Uncle wanted to open the door, thinking it would be immoral if they wouldn't open the door for any guest coming to their home where it didn't matter if it was at day or night.

So, to Ai's satisfaction, Uncle called his student to find out about the matter.

"Sorry for disturbing you at night. But it was an emergency. We think Thomas has reached our house. Do you have any idea about this?

The Uncle's student was semi-conscious due to suddenly waking from a sound sleep. But he responded according to whatever he knew after focusing on Thomas' whole day's words.
