A Firey Showdown:

The pink-haired woman stared at me. She's wearing the same cashier outfit from when we first met. I lock eyes with her as my hands twitch waiting for her to make a move. She just grins at me as Rebecca whispers into my ear. 

" Is she the pink-haired woman you met on the rooftop? "

I nod my head at Rebecca's question. Her face grows serious. I guess she realized that this woman in front of us was an instructor. My body is still being healed by Sally as she holds onto my shoulder. But it's going to take a couple more minutes before my body is fully healed.

" I have to thank you for telling me about the time limit, but you can at least tell me your name before we fight. "

I need to stall for time and let Sally heal me. Her ability is flight. There's a reason she was on the second floor. The ceiling is thousands of feet above us giving her a huge space to fly.

" My name is Alice and you are welcome, but can we skip the small talk? I have been itching to fight you since I saw your name in the news getting attacked by that summoner's monster. "

Great, she doesn't plan on having a conversation. I doubt she knows Sally's can heal. I start glancing around and look at the cave. I enclosed space is needed to limit her-

Before I could finish my train of thought, I felt something wrap around my neck as my feet lifted up in the air. She grabbed me before my eyes could react. T-This is really bad. Is she that much faster than me?

I watch as Rebecca and Sally look behind them staring at me as their hair blows in the gust of wind caused by the woman's fast movements...

As Rebecca and Sally watch in shock, David gets raised in the air. Rebecca is about to say something until she hears the sound of hurried footsteps approaching her. She looks towards the noise and sees a ginger woman limping towards them with burns covering her body.

The ginger woman is the same one on the first floor that can make energy barriers. She looks at Rebecca and Sally with an exhausted look until she suddenly turns around and creates an orange energy barrier.

A split second later a massive blast of fire engulfed the barrier. As two silhouettes walk in unison through the smog of the blast. The smog finally fades away and reveals twins with dark red hair and a cocky expression. They are the same height being around 5'10

The ginger woman dashed back away from the men. She came to a halt with her back facing Rebecca and Sally. She glances behind her and smacks her lips.

The men in front of her eyes widen as they stare at Rebecca and Sally as they lean over towards each other and whisper.

" Hey, those women are with that man that fought Aerio correct? If we kill them, he'll surely come after us."

Said one of the twins. The other one nods. They are clearly afraid of David. During David and Aerio's battle, the twins were watching. They were amazed by David's movements and battle tactics. They came to the conclusion of killing David after he dealt with Aerio. However, Jerio met the two men and forced them to retreat.

" We can kill the ginger woman and steal her pages. She doesn't have any more teammates. Aerio and Jerio dealt with them. She's easy pickings. "

Said the other twin as they walked over towards Ginger before they looked over her shoulder and spoke towards Rebecca and Sally.

" Leave the ginger for us. We have no intention of fighting you two. "

They said. The ginger smacks her lips and starts to create an energy barrier that surrounds her as sweat rolls down her forehead and drips off her nose.

" That sounds fine to us. Just don't catch us in the crossfire and we won't interrupt your battle. "

Said Rebecca coldly. Sally glanced at her sister before sighing. Sally clearly wanted to help the ginger but knew Rebecca wouldn't change her mind.

The twins raised their hands at the same time. While Rebecca and Sally dashed back to gain space. The twins' palms glow a bright orange until fire shoots out illuminating the second floor.

Bright flames engulfed the orange barrier. Inside the energy barrier, the woman could be seen breathing heavily, her chest heaving with exhaustion. She held onto her knees until suddenly the ginger looked up and heard footsteps charging forward. She watches as a silhouette appears in the flames before a twin runs through her barrier throwing a punch.

Time slows as she watches the twin slam his foot onto the ground as he twists his body shifting his weight and throwing a thunderous punch. The punch slams into her stomach. A ripple of sharp energy shoots out of the woman as she coughs out blood. The ginger body became limp until abruptly, the twin gripped firmly onto her orange hair and pointed his palm directly in her face.

Before scorching hot flames engulf her face charring her skin, Smog covers the woman's face as she stumbles back before a heel slams into her chin launching her out of the energy barrier. Her body bounces off the ground before grinding to a halt.

The woman lay face first on the cold ground as her skin peeled from being burnt. Her pupils are pure white until suddenly her black eyes return and she pushes off the ground with both hands standing back up. Blood pours out of her mouth as the twins start to approach the woman with a grin on their faces.

" Listen woman, we'll give props for your heart, but we both know this battle is over. "

Said one of the twins as he pointed his hand toward the woman. Flames start to conjure out of his hands until he hears the sound of footsteps. He glances over towards the sound and watches Rebecca and Sally approach them...

On the first floor of the tomb. A bloody David could be seen embedded inside a wall barely conscious. Alice had slammed David through the second-floor ceiling before punching him into a wall.

David stumbled out of the wall knife in hand. He stares at Alice staring at him with a grin on her face. David wipes blood off his mouth as Alice speaks.

" David, just try your hardest not to disappoint me "...
