Awakeni-[wait what!]

A group of Five individuals walked through the forest, each clad in a type of dark wooden Armor that both camouflaged them and acted as protection in the greenery of the dark forest.

With two people leading the way , one with dirty red hair and another with dark ginger hair, the people in question being Leon and Ray.

Having tried to split the group and find traces of the prince, the group had failed to find anything, something Leon found odd. The group reconvened at the agreed upon rendezvous point, almost an hour had passed, and the witching hour was near.

Leon's POV

 "something bad is going to happen.. I can feel it." Sarah muttered, looking towards the darkening sky.

"Fog is coming, we need to hurry" I state to which a knight behind me scoffed. Rodrigo, Rod for short, his tomato red hair tied into a braid, not exactly complementing his stocky appearance . ignoring him I continued on.

As we continued on, we encountered some beasts, mainly some Rabbi, along with a few stray Boars, not like they proved a challenge however as I and the other knights quickly dispatched them.

As We walked, a harrowing scream echoed in the eerily silent forest. making all of us stop. "Its him" Ray announced, concern evident in his voice, causing the group to speed off in the direction of said scream.

The forest blurred past me as I spotted a clearing just Ahead, there a bloody scene lay before me, a scene that caused my blood to run cold, not for the creature standing above the prince, but for the current sorry state of the prince. blood surrounded where the boy lay, something that fuelled the anger I was feeling. 

Drawing my sword, I rushed to close the distance of the creature, a sting hound. in the heat of the moment, the hound used its tail to block my sword, causing me to somewhat stumble back, before i could gain my bearings, the hound proceeded to attack me with one of its claws, which was promptly blocked by Ray with his sword bearing a yellow energy that strengthened his weapon.

"keep it together!" He reprimanded. 

taking a deep breath, I internally berated myself, dying in a battle with this monster due to stupidly losing my cool wouldn't help the kid from bleeding out. " Sarah, do what you can to stop the bleeding, josh keep a look out for other sting hounds, they always travel in packs, so there has to be others around" I ordered the two knights before joining Ray and Rodrigo in exterminating the nearby threat. 

Ray, with his body radiating the energy called Aura, used his sword to target the creatures weaknesses, whilst Rodrigo used his fists to cause damage, not that he needed a weapon. 

Creating a bolt of fire within the palm of my hand, I shot it at the creatures mouth, still bleeding from the boys retaliation, a sense of pride surged knowing this prince of ours managed to harm the creature this deeply.

The bolt of fire hit its mark, making the creature let out a loud shriek.

" keep an eye out, more may come!" I yell, knowing Josh and Sarah heard me, as I continued my assault throwing bolt after bolt at the creature, distracting it enough for Ray to impale the creature through its already damaged mouth, with a choked growl, the hound died. 

Heading back to The prince, Sarah was healing him to the best of her ability, light green tendrils coming from her wrists attached themselves to the area of his wounds, pumping through them a green energy that seemed to accelerate his healing, making his bleeding stop at an almost visible rate. 

"you think there are more out there" Josh said to no one in particular, following his words, I surveyed the surrounding forest, it was quiet, too quiet. 

"everyone, keep your guard up" I remind, feeling a bit uneasy.

"It's too quiet" Ray added, cautiously surveying the surroundings.

A wet feeling appeared on my face as rain started to pour down from the sky. making me frown.

" we need to get him out of here, let's go" Sarah urged, obviously eager to get out of the forest, having stabilized his wounds, she picked him up, carrying him like a sack of potatoes.

hearing an low impromptu chuckle coming from beside me, I turned to see a humanoid child, staring at the boy hanging on Sarah's shoulder.

it's head did a 120 degree turn as it turned to me, its low chuckle turning into full on high pitched psychotic laughter that just increased in intensity as its wide black eyes, seemed to get wider, drawing me in.

my mind went blank as a tingling sensation spread throughout my whole body, my heart beating faster than It ever should, a strong pounding in my head matching rhythm with the pulsing, making it difficult to think, falling on my knees an agonizing heat started to form around my chest area, spreading through my body as I started to cough out, a metallic taste coming from my mouth. 

Yet I found myself unable to stop gazing at it's eyes. 

it's black, soulless, dreary eyes.

Time seemed to have little meaning as I felt my senses drift from me.

Touch..

Hearing...

 Sig- Those eyes suddenly closed as her body suddenly catapulted.

a fist being the last thing I saw before a wave of fatigue knocked me out...

A huge bang resounded inside a forest, drowned out by the heavy sound of rain hitting the ground, The rain not able to drown out the sickening crack that followed as the humanoid demon's head banged on the ground.

Heavy fog surrounded the place, making it hard to see the figure.

Rodrigo stood next to Leon, who was falling on the floor, unconscious, almost instantly, he grabbed hold of Leon interrupting his one way freefall to the cold muddy ground, visible concern on his face, almost instantly morphing into one of anger. " You dare sneak up on him like that" his voice baleful as he turned his head in the direction where he had smashed the humanoid demon.

in the fog, a silhouette of a child started limping towards the group, only to disappear before it could get closer.

Rodrigo seeing this, gave the unconscious Leon to Josh, who took him, baffled at the turn of events "Rod, what are you planning?" Josh looked at him, years of knowing each other had given him an idea of what Rodrigo was going to do, and he didn't like it one bit. 

"Look after him and the kid" he turned away, looking at the silhouette that appeared behind them, somewhat closer than before, Cracking his knuckles, he took off with a running start and leaped into the fog. Following that, sounds of ground shattering could be heard.

speechless at what just occurred, Josh was about to follow after him before a voice yelled out to him "I'll back him up, you and Sarah just take both of them to the village!" Ordered Ray, whom went after Rodrigo, both Intent on delaying the creature.

Giving a look at Sarah, whom looked as if she wanted to protest, josh readied himself to run with Leon on his back, "we'll be back with reinforcements!" he shouted at where Ray had run off too, unsure of whether they heard it or not, internally hoping for the former.

they both ran towards safety with two wounded, sounds of fighting growing fainter the further they ran.

until with heavy hearts, they made it to the leafy gates of the village.

Within the consciousness of a half dead onion, a voice was heard.

The onion in question was unaware of the presence that had invaded his mind.

[what the hell is going on]

 in the darkness of the boys consciousness, a metallic orb, with a black screen embedded on it, appeared.

Two blue eyes appeared on the screen, along with furrowed brows, indicating its displeasure. 

[This wasn't meant to happen, how could something of this world know of my existence] 

peering into the darkness, a screen appeared in front of the orb, showing the surroundings of the boy.

The sight of a humanoid child transforming into a being of dread was seen by the orb, causing it to wince in disgust [This thing again, crap, this is bad] it mumbled, as another screen began to appear, within it , lines of code flowed through them.

typing in a few lines of code, and running it, a sort of invisible blast came out of the boys body, successfully hitting the creature, whom seemed unaware of the orbs intervention as it got smashed in the face. earning a smirk from the orb.

it mumbled, Fatigue evident in its voice as its screen turned off, leaving a metallic orb slumbering inside the consciousness of the prince.
