The Forbidden Desire

“Get hit by a car while crossing the street, then transmigrate after dying.” As a big fan of transmigration novels, this was Cassius’ biggest dream before he died — experiencing the true power of transmigration. But after actually experiencing the real event itself, Cassius couldn't even produce a crooked smile. That's because instead of the typical transmigration novels like he had read before, Cassius transmigrated into a supernatural world where werewolves and vampires exist! Yes! A real werewolves and vampires! Not only that, but Cassius also transmigrated into the body of a small cannon folder who was destined to die in the very first chapter of the story. No halo, no harem and worst of all, dying with no limbs intact. Thinking how his body would be shredded into pieces, a pack of hungry wolves happily gwaning his bones...... Cassius almost cried without tears. So, to avoid his body's tragic ending, Cassius decided to distance himself from the main protagonist's life as much as possible, and promised to himself to live a better life. —But fate is really playing with him. Cassius, who was suddenly pounced on and fell to the ground, uttered a loud cry of surprise. His eyes widened as he felt a soft and wet object licking the side of his cheek. The villain growled on his lips, while her slender fingers gradually tightened around his neck. Her eyes slowly opened, revealing a pair of fiery and passionate, emerald eyes filled with burning desire.

Can We Just Run Now?

"Who the fuck do you think you are?"

Luther's eyes flashed menacingly as he gritted his teeth. He exerted force in pushing Martin away, making him lose his balance and tripped on his own feet.

A person who seems like he had a good relationship with Luther joined them and took both of Martin's arms and pulled him up to make him stand on the ground.

Luther opened his mouth and asked once again, "Who gave you the guts to speak ill in front of me? Are you fucking tired of living?"

He then grabbed Martin's hair, giving him a strong blow in his stomach. "Don't you know that I'm the king's relative? How dare you talk to me like that?"

"Eukk– wait!"

Due to being restrained by two other people, Martin could not even struggle and just let himself take the blow without the ability to fight back.

"S-sorry! Cough, cough! I'm sorry!"

Luther let out a sneer and raised his head proudly after hearing the latter's apology. He gave him a look like 'you asked for it' before raising his fist once again.

Cassius at the corner was stupify. What the hell? Is this world so ruthless that everywhere he goes there is a fight?

He didn't want himself to get into trouble, but seeing the situation that Luther and his friends don't have intentions to end things here, he doesn't have a choice but to interrupt or else the worse outcome might come.

He knew Luther's personality. Born with a golden spoon in his mouth, Luther grew up as a spoiled kid with a nasty temper. He loves making trouble for others and uses his status to show his superiority to other vampires. Since he was the king's distant relative, no one dared to go against him, making him too full of himself.

Surely, this kid wouldn't let this matter go just by a simple apology.

Cassius quickly stepped in and pulled Martin behind him, blocking Luther's view.

"Please stop! He already apologized. Let him go."

Luther was surprised where this stupid vampire came from. He and his friend both glanced at each other, confused as to how they didn't notice how Cassius went and took Martin away from their grasp right in front of their nose.

He was too fast! Faster than them! And how come they didn't even feel his presence?

But since they were still excited about making trouble, they didn't pay much attention to it.

After hearing his words, Luther felt like he heard a very funny joke and suddenly laughed out loud in an exaggerated manner, followed by his friend. "Does anyone know who this bastard is? He's so funny hahaha."

A guy with hazelnut hair stepped forward and answered Luther's question with a mocking grin on his face. "I think he's the human that Lafitte brought three days ago."

Eh?

The shock and surprise was written in Cassius' face when these words fell upon his ears.

Three days ago? Did he hear him right? How can he sleep so long in such a dangerous world? Cassius you're not in a fucking vacation!

"Ahh I see." Luther pinched his chin and lightly nodded, "A newly awakened vampire then."

Luther continued, "So that's why this person doesn't know how to speak and is being so bold in ordering me around."

Suddenly, Luther's eyes brightened as he thought of something, "Hah! Come here then, let me teach you how to speak in vampire language!"

Suddenly, a vampire jumped down from one of the tree's branches and came into Cassius' sight. Seeing the newly arrived person make Cassius gulped in fright and unconsciously took a step backward. This one was a lot shorter than all the people present, but he had a bulky body and the muscles in his arms and chest were visible, showing how strong and capable this person was.

Just looking at his massive fists was enough for Cassius to feel his jaw hurt.

Fuck, we're screwed. Thought by Cassius as he backed away.

Cassius glanced at Martin at the corner of his eyes and saw Martin staring at the person with a dumb expression in his face. Seeing this, Cassius just wanted to smack his forehead, if only he wasn't too scared to move.

Cassius felt like crying. Can we just run now?

Three people surrounded Cassius and Martin leaving them no chance to escape.

Luther bent down and snorted a laugh, "You're a dead meat now."

Just before Luther could launch an attack, the wind was splitted into half by an exceeding speed.

Luther's back collar was suddenly grabbed from behind and he was thrown a few meters away.

"Luther!" Yelled by his friends immediately ran towards him to give him a hand.

A tall figure stood right in front of Cassius. His back was straight and his hands were placed behind him.

The man's brown hair was neatly combed back, revealing a clean forehead and handsome features. His thin lips were pursed into a thin line. A pair of golden wired eyeglasses sits on his nose making this person seem cold and refined.

His whole body exuded a mature handsome man aura.

Cassius already prepared himself to hear some harsh remarks from the man, but to his surprise, a calm and gentle voice entered his ear.

"Fighting in this place is greatly prohibited, if you had forgotten, master Luther."

"You!"

Luther was so angry that he couldn't speak. He struggled to get up and rushed towards the man, but he was easily handled.

The man spoke gently, "As a noble, I advise you to please be mindful of your actions sir."

Luther grew even more annoyed. But the reason behind this annoyance was because he knew the huge difference between their strengths and capabilities. If he were going to fight this man, then it would be just simply looking for death.

Tsk, he hates it when he can't beat someone stronger than him.

Luther gnashed his teeth for a moment and angrily retorted. "Such great words. As the prince's dog, why don't you mind your business instead?"

The man lowered his head, "This subject knows his mistake."

The man immediately accepting his mistakes and apologizing to him in a calm manner made Luther's face turn redder in shame.

"Please come home early, the duke is looking for you."

Luther slapped the hands of his friends who were supporting him and stood up. With clenched teeth, he whispered, enough to let the people present hear.

"Hmpph! Trash!" He said before walking away while stomping his feet. The other two immediately followed him and left the scene.

"Uhm.." Cassius took a step forward, wanting to thank the other person for saving them. Although this man looks intimidating, he seems like a good person.

Suddenly, the man raised his head and turned his head towards Cassius. A pair of green, gem-like eyes looked straight at Cassius through his golden-rimmed eyeglasses, making his footsteps halted.

"Next time, don't wander around the woods aimlessly if you're this weak. It's a great inconvenience to others." The man said before vanishing out of their sight with the speed that isn't visible in the human's naked eye.

"...."

After recovering, Martin exclaimed in irritation, "What the hell? I was about to thank him!"

Martin faces him and tells Cassius while massaging his hurting jaw. "See? I told you, there are no normal vampires here. All of them are arrogant!"

"....Especially that person, be careful with him."

Hearing his words, Cassius looked at him confusedly, "Why?" Cassius thought for a moment before adding, "He seems like a good person though."

Martin's face suddenly turned serious. He paused for a moment and darted his eyes towards him. "Of course, he's Prince Damien's right hand man."

"He's more sinister than he looks. You wouldn't know what he's thinking."

"What do you mean by that?"

Martin didn't respond and turned around, leaving Cassius standing alone, who was still in deep thought.

He lowered his eyes and vaguely whispered. "He's the one who had bitten you after all."
