Seven years ago, Katie had the toughest year of her life. She was betrayed by a friend she thought was a good person, which almost violated her. She even allowed herself to be used so that the person could lure Catherine out of her shelter.
In the end, her sealed power broke and killed four people with her own hands. She felt dirty, and her hands were covered in blood. She felt devastated that she would not be able to clean the bloodstain of killing a human. She would keep this regret for the rest of her life.
Even after recovering and recuperating from the poison that would kill her, Katie experienced trauma and nightmares every night.
Her sleep was no longer soundly, and she felt nauseous whenever a crowd of men approached her. Since then, she closed herself in her house. Katie didn't even let her two foster parents see her miserable condition.
After several months in her apartment, Katie decided to go to German. At least, no one knew her in Europe.
