Katie Was Kidnapped

The reason why the boy left a deep impression on her; the reason why that child sometimes appears in her dreams; the reason why Katie couldn't hate the boy even though she wanted to, it was because Katie fell in love with the child. The boy was her first love.

Katie snorted sarcasm toward herself.

'You stupid. How can you fall in love with someone who broke his promises.' mocked Katie to herself.

When she first saw the way Vincent looked at Cathy, she felt jealous and hoped to find someone like Vincent, a man who could look at her like Vincent looked at Cathy.

But now, she wasn't sure if she would be happy if there were people who could look at her the way she wanted. Because her heart was currently only missing one person. And she will feel heartbroken all her life because she could not find that person or information about her first love. After all, she was so stupid to forget the name of her first love.

"Katleen, what's up?"

Katie looked up and saw Aiden looking at her with a worried look.

'He likes you, don't you know? Is there a man who would bother to pick you up, accompany you shopping, and always come to your concert if he doesn't have any special feelings?

Will she be able to open her heart to this man someday? Can she love Aiden?

Katie wanted to try it. She wanted to forget her first love and bury deep the feelings she just realized. That's why she was willing to accompany Aiden wherever the man wanted to go. She even lowered her defenses and slept when the man was about to drive her home.

Whereas before, she was sure she felt not sleepy before. But why does she feel tired all of a sudden? Because she decided to try to love him, she felt unsuspecting and slept soundly during the trip home.

Katie did not know a man who acted as if he loved her sincerely; the man she allowed to try to enter her heart turned out to be not a human but a devil in disguise who had no human feelings at all.

Katie woke up from her sleep, feeling someone stroking her hair. Who stroked her? Doesn't she live alone in her apartment? Her parents also did not come to stay.

Is it possible her Umbra? Impossible. She had not met with Umbra ever since she became a singer four years ago.

Since the contract accepted her at her current agency, the Umbra has never appeared before her. Umbra will contact her via chat or voice call occasionally. And the last time they talked when the man said he would visit Germany four years ago.

Two days ago, Charlie told her that Umbra would be back in America this weekend.

Katie immediately looked at the 'doers' with a look of hatred, followed by a great surprise.

"Aiden? What are you doing?" Katie moved sideways away from Aiden very slowly.

She heard that insolent man sigh. "I didn't expect you to have so much energy. It makes me want to taste you in bed."

Katie's eyes widened at his words, and she rapidly turned around and got out of bed. Her position was facing Aiden, who had risen to his feet with a bed separating the two.

Her eyes wandered around, examining the room's furniture until she finally found a door that she expected was the exit.

"Where is this?" Katie asked without lowering her awareness.

"This is my place." Aiden moved sideways. Her hunch said that Aiden was about to walk toward her.

Katie's eyes quickly glanced at the table beside her to look for something that could be used to defend herself.

"And why am I here? Aren't we on our way home?" Katie walked backward until her back turned to the table she had glanced at earlier.

One hand moved back slowly and took the pen she saw.

"Right, we're on our way home. And I brought you home to my house. Is there something wrong with that?"

Katie's heart pounded in fear of the distance between Aiden and her shrinking. What exactly does this man want?

"Are you still asking? I will hate you for the rest of my life if you don't let me go home."

Aiden laughed horribly. Katie had never seen him laugh like this. Is this man really the Aiden she knew? Aiden's current expression was not as gentle as he had shown before. Aiden grinned like an evil man who had caught his prey.
