Sheis noticed Laney and the gigantic mouth where he sensed his son to be last present before he got killed. His eyes rained fire after he found a portion of his son's cloak stuck in one of the teeth of the mouth.
Sheis was in no mood to talk to Laney since she was only an early True God and could prove no challenge. The gigantic mouth was the real deal since he sensed it to be equal in strength to him, if not stronger.
The mouth ignored Sheis and focused on Laney. It suddenly growled and charged.
Sheis harrumphed and attacked. A red beam of energy emerged from his right index finger and pierced through the mouth.
The energy beam seemed to have done no damage to the beast as it kept charging toward Laney. Laney had a deep frown spread across her face since she had no idea why the mouth felt such enmity toward her.
