The army chief appeared out of nowhere on the center stage. With his appearance, the silence present broke down.

For the majority of the citizens, the army chief had appeared out of nowhere, but for beings who had reached Level 40 could clearly see the movements of the army chief. He had exited one of the VIP rooms and then had directly jumped down on the stage. At the last moment before the landing, he had used one of the skills to slow down his jump and gently landed on the stage, creating an illusion that he had appeared out of nowhere directly on the stage.

Upon the army chief's appearance, the crowd stared at him with eager anticipation as it waited for the auction to begin. Since almost all of the citizens, irrespective of their level, had heard the announcement from the guards, they knew it had something to do with the army and the army chief, so they didn't feel surprised seeing the army chief on the stage.
