Chapter 25

Elizabeth was one of the more famous female adventurers because of her strength and good looks. She was one of the few capable people that could fight in the high rank dungeons. She was also one of the more beautiful women in the city, this had caused her to be famous among the normal masses that had zero skills or fighting capabilities. So many adventurers and civilians see her a battle goddess. Knowing that they are not even capable of stay by her side so they support her in any way they can.

Elizabeth was so used to many people just wanting to talk to her, so they give lame excuses to talk to her. She thought Koa was one of her fans, so she just decided to suck it up and answer his question. As Koa received his answer and just walked away without a second thought; this action made her lose her feeling of being looked upon.

"So, he didn't even really want to talk to me he just wanted directions!? I guess he is new here, so he doesn't know who I am." Elizabeth said to herself as to comfort herself.

The person who had caused her distrait didn't even care to notice her merely continued on his way to the Adventurer's Building. A few minutes later Koa finally happened to find the Adventurer's Building.

"Ah I can tell what she meant by I will know when I see it. There's a banner and it looks generally new compared to the rest of the buildings nearby." Koa

After making his comment Koa walked into the doors of the building. Koa looked around to see that the place was mostly empty besides a few people that were sitting behind a desk. Koa decided to walk towards the people behind the desk.

"Excuse me. Is this the Adventurer's sign up?" Koa asked in a questioning tone.

"If you are looking to try and join the to Guilds you missed the sign up time come again tomorrow. Then that is when you have a chance to join the large guild." The individual behind the desk said in an annoyed tone not even opening his eyes.

"ah I see. So where does one sign up if they are just trying to do quests for themselves?" Koa asked not even unhappy about the person being annoyed.

"Hmm. Didn't you hear me elite signups are tomorrow morning." The receptionist said.

"Yes. I heard you but I am not looking to be an elite. I just want to do quest so I can make money without having to answer to another individual." Koa said.

At this point a female receptionist walked over.

"I am sorry about Kline he is just annoyed by so many people wanting to join the elite guilds. Instead of just getting quest like normal. If you would like to go in front of my desk I can get you started." The female receptionist.

"Yes thank you." Koa said.

Koa walked over to her desk.

"Okay now that we can start over. My name is Lily I am receptionist of the Adventurer's you will be bring quest you want to me and turning in quests to me. So, If you will fill out the is form to have an official identification and allow you accept quest for the Adventurer's union." Lily said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah. Sure" Koa responded as he began to fill out the form.

After a few minutes had passed Koa finished filling out the form. When he finished had handed it back to Lily.

"Here it is. Ma'am." Koa said.

"Thank you, and you don't have to talk to me like I am a stranger. Lily is fine." Lily said.

"Alright then Lily did I fill it out properly?" Koa asked.

"Yes the form I correct. So, you will be a rank F adventurer on your card. This is not because I am looking down on you it is only natural to start as allow rank. Your rank will increase over time as you complete more quest." Lily

"Okay so how does one rank up. Is it a time thing or a completion?" Koa

"It is a completion base rank up. But most people do stay to their rankings for quite some time. This is most because they are trying to live a non-risk life. For your question it would be twenty rank F quests and ten Rank E quests. After that is completed then you will be qualified to rank up but there can be times when you could be unquailed, but that will mostly depend on your operation with your team." Lily

"Alright thank you." Koa responded and walked over to the quest board.

Koa was staring at the board for Rank F Adventurers. The quests weren't exactly what you would think they were. Instead of killing monsters or scouting missions. It was more like cleaning an area or help remove pests. This was kind of a letdown; compared to Rank E missions which were killing sewer rats and hunting stray goblins. Koa had already kill hundreds of goblins but he is not a complete Rank E so after he takes one Rank E quest he has to wait three days.

After browsing for a few minutes Koa decided it was time to pick a quest. Koa choose a herb collection quest that would be located right outside the city, so he wouldn't haver to go far and could end it to night. Koa walked over to Lily at the counter.

"Have you found a quest you would like to take?" Lily

"Ah. Yeah I would want to take the collection of Helget flowers on the east city gate." Koa

"Alright collection of Helget flowers. A standard quest but be careful at night the guards on portal and the beasts also are more active then as well. It would be best to wait till morning." Lily

"I will take that into consideration." Koa
