ARSEN'S POV
I sat at the desk in my office once again going through and responding to many dukes' letters of concern. They all wanted me to reconsider the law.
I was writing the same response to most of them. Samuel was helping me write as well. I had to calm down these dukes before things got out of hand.
Unfortunately for them, I wasn't going to change the law the decision was final. And I didn't want to focus on this issue for too long. I had tonnes of other issues to take care of.
Funnily enough among the letters I'd received Ayan's father had also written to me as well. Which I found interesting. Was he afraid of Ayan's mother leaving him? I laughed about it when I read it. I would ask Ayan about it later.
As we worked away in the office there was soon a knock at the door. Samuel stood up and went to answer. After a moment he turned back to me.
"Your Majesty, the Crown Prince has requested to see you," Samuel informed me.
