The Fantastic Tales Of A Jack Of All Trades

Are you sick of characters gaining supreme powers without earning them? Do you get sick of the phrase "A jack of all trades but a master of none?" Well I am! And as the author I welcome you to this wonderful book following the tales of Vincent! for once I'm gonna make a MC that isn't OP because some god made a stupid mistake or because they for some unexplained reason got a system out of nowhere (don't get me wrong i do genuinely enjoy such stories but recently I've gotten a bit tiered of such tales) in this story it will be earned! Practice makes perfect!

Chapter 29: (Vol 2) (Re Uploaded)

Vincent was annoyed. everywhere he went is was surrounded by a wall of guards. He could get up to no mischief nor have any real fun. It seemed almost as if everyone wanted him to not enjoy the trip.

However unlike Victor, Victoria actually enjoyed every moment. they started by going to the shopping district, Victoria rarely left the castle and she always wanted to try and buy something herself. Despite what many may have expected she was actually well versed with money, this was due to her education and upbringing as a princess of Frent.

Victoria joyfully pulled Vincent from store to story occasionally buying some items that caught her eye like a plushy toy chicken or a elegant bronze necklace. Vincent on the other found the experience unbelievably boring to a unbearable level. The one store he did fint interesting was a store selling knives. Some were a cooking While others for Self Defense.

unfortunately he couldn't stay long as Victoria spotted somthing of intrest and was already nagging him to go over there with her. thus Vincent quickly bought a general purpose survival knife and followed the princess.

After the day of shopping came to a end the duo came to meet the city's mayor, Duke Terrice. He was a shubby middle aged man with short legs. he had nearly no hair at the top of his head nor did he have a beard. the few hairs he did have seemed to be brown but it wasn't clear to the eye. the man had surprisingly bright green eyes that seemed like the man lived a life of no worries.

Duke Terrice: "I haven't seen you since you were 4 little Vincent. how have the last 6 years been?"

Victoria: "Uncle Trerrice you know Vincent?"

Terrice: "Im a on good terms with his dad."

Vincent: "A lot has changed, for example i have started training with swords and magic."

Terrice: "Yes your dad has messaged me about how proud he is of your progress. "

Vincent: "He has?"

Terrice: "Ofcorse. while your at it please do remember to tell your old man that i send him my regards."

Vincent: "I shall"

Victoria: "Terrice has my dad sent you the message?"

Terrice: "Ofcores. I have recoved his majesty's message and i am well aware of why the two of you are here. Everything has long been aranged including your accommodations."
