Flashback 10

A resounding slap pulled him back to reality. He instinctively put his hands over his stinging face. He glared at the woman who just slapped him just now. He was taken aback after seeing the woman.

"You're disgusting!" said the woman in anger. Her voice roared out throughout the corridor.

"Honey! It's not me. Believe me!" he exclaimed in terror. It was his wife, Clara. He looked at the slightly plump but beautiful woman in front of him.

The woman was wearing huge sunglasses which hide her emotions away. She however felt disgusted with her husband and all the more was hurt and hated the man to the core after she learned the truth about him. If not, she will continue to believe in him, blindly.

"Not you? Ha! I won't believe you anymore and any way, I'm leaving you for good. I will bring Neon with me!" with that, the woman turned around and walked away from the disgusting man. Neon was their only son. Though he's shameless enough, he made sure that his son has a beautiful life. Actually, he doted his son so much.

"Ohh.. By the way I already prepared the divorce papers and it has already your seal on it. It is now currently processed in the court." said Clara with her back facing him. She sounded so distant to him. So far from the woman he had known for 10 years. Clara continued to walk to the public elevator. She halted her steps once more and she spoke.

"And also, I sold your shares... It's my shares if I remember correctly. Good bye." then continued her way to the elevator without facing him directly.

He scanned his surroundings and found out that he was still at the corridor leading towards the VIP elevator.

Clara had long gone and the other employees actually evaded him like plague.

All faded like a bubble popped. His house, his job, his properties, his family are all gone now!

He slumped back to the floor looking at his hands with disbelief. He could not believe that it all happened in one day. He balled his hands into fist so hard that his knuckles turned to white.

Anger was surging from his within. He darted his anger to Belle.

The elevator opened and hastily alighted it and pressed the button which lead him to the upper floor.

Belle was busy as ever. She could not waste any of her time to trivial matters. She has a long day ahead of her. She's in her office sorting out some plans of the DREAM project. She wanted to know the status of the project and how things have been running lately. It was one of the biggest projects they have and she don't want to fail it. She wanted the full supervision of the project. That's why she requested Ren Tao to compile the data for it. She actually was surprised when she saw a hoard of folders stacked above her table. .

Director Ma arrived at her office in angry state but he was not allowed to enter.

"F*ck off! I want to see that sl*t now!" he roared.

"I'm sorry Director Ma, she is currently in a meeting now. She said no one is allowed to disturbed her even if it is important." one of her secretaries said, blocking the entire door of Belle's office.

"Ahhhh!!! F*ck!!! How dare she mess with me! She's nothing but a woman!" he said angrily.

To him, Belle was not of importance because in his views, women were just tools for pleasure not for world domination.

"I'm sorry sir. Please have your way. The exit is just right beside you." the secretary said telling him to leave the office.

"How dare you! Do you know who I am?" he screamed at the young secretary. But the employee did not cower down. She just looked at him with a calm and professional face even though she really wanted to strangle the man infront of her.

"I'm really sorry sir. We are just obeying orders. Please leave the office." she said in a curt and blunt manner which made Director Ma more furious.

Director Ma slammed the glass table of the secretary which made it broke. He picked up a shard of glass and aimed at the young secretary.

The young secretary however, did not back down either. She called the security for help.

Shortly after, a hoard of men arrived at the secretarial office and dragged Director Ma out.
