Dream Project
After so many months, Director Ma never appeared at the building of Yang Empire ever again. It was said that he committed suicide because of the incident. Many claimed that he was not a loss to humanity because he was one of the worst scumbags that lived on this planet.
Belle did not care what were the speculations of those people. All she cared was her company and whoever challenges her surely would meet their own demise.
Dead man tell no tales and the truth behind his death will forever be buried along with his body. As how he died, lets not ask too much.
Belle focused on the DREAM Project. All her time and energy was dedicated to it. It was because this project was the key and their stepping stone to the international business circle. It also meant that if they succeed, the company will be second of the best with the Lewis Empire.
They planned on conquering the oil industry in China and all of the neighboring countries. It was also the time they met but time was not yet ripe as he and she ignored each others presence.
Belle flew to country S and with the proposed business deal with their current leader.
Country S was known to be rich in gold and oil. The buildings owned by the empire were almost made of gold entirely. The people there were not poor and not one citizen in the country begged for money. You could not see anyone in the streets dressed in rags and messy. The people were fully employed and that was the reason why they have the highest employment capacity. It also attracted so many attention from the international circle.
Belle arrived at country S with Ren and lodged at the hotel he booked before hand. She slumped down to the bed and slept immediately because of the hot temperature. She was not accustomed to such drastic changes in the climate and it had a toll on her body upon arriving.
Ren delegated himself of finding an opening to talk to the leader of their nation. They said that he was a royal blood and had a vast amount of riches across the world. No one from this country have seen their leader. It was said that he was young and so handsome. Some said that maybe he was so ugly that he could not face the public directly.
Not knowing the truth, his character seemed to be shrouded with mystery. Even Ren was not able to find some clues about him and returned to the hotel empty handed. He prepared himself to be beaten by the demoness later.
Belle woke up from her nap finding that Ren has not yet returned. She ordered some food from the hotel's kitchen because she was starving. It was like all of her energy was depleted the moment she stepped into this country.
Ren went back to their hotel suite and he found out that the demoness has ordered food for herself only. He did not other choice but to order for a delivery from a local restaurant. He waited at the hotel's lobby for the delivery.
'Does she know that I did not find any clue of the man?' he asked internally. He thought that it was Belle's way of punishing him.
He just brought food back with him. He did not want to anger the demoness further so he ate in silence in the corner of the room.
Even though he had that commanding and dangerous aura around him during work, he was still inferior from Belle and it actually made him frustrated just by thinking about it.
Belle ate her food quietly too. She did not asked Ren about the leader of the small nation. She just waited for him to talk first but it seemed that he did not have the intention of doing so.
'Is there something happened?' she asked herself. She stared at Ren, seizing if something happened but the man paid no heed of her seizing. He ate slowly in the corner. Watching him made her mouth twitch.
"Say, something happened?" she finally asked which made Ren Tao halt his spoon in the mid-air and slowly turned his head towards Belle.
"I can't find any..." he said while shoving the food inside his mouth.
"I thought so..." she just shortly replied and went back to study the proposal she made. She finished reviewing the proposal, it was almost midnight and she have no intention of sleeping.
She showered and changed her clothes but not with the pink nighties she loved so much but with the black tank top and leather pants and boots. She equipped herself with her katana and off she had gone to somewhere. Seeing this, Ren Tao could not help but shake his head and followed her suit. He knew that the demoness tend to be reckless sometimes.
'What was she doing inside the enemy lines? She wanted to get killed?' he nagged in his mind. There's no way he will nag at her personally, he still wanted to do many things and his work is currently piling. How could he have the time to die?
