"Good morning class", Miss Jennifer, the chemistry teacher greeted. Miss Jennifer is so pretty. I would say she's the prettiest teacher in the whole of Sun Peak High. She's so gentle and loving unlike some teachers I know. "Hey!! Jerkins! What are you doing sleeping in my class?". "I'm sorry Coach. I'm not feeling well". "You're not feeling well? Does this look like an hospital to you? Now go home!". "Thanks Coach". "Wait! Can you walk home by yourself?". "Yes Coach". "Good. Sit down! If you've that much energy to walk, then I guess you have enough to stay awake in my class". Coach teaches Physical education and he coaches the school's football team. He's a pretty tough man. Everyone calls him 'Coach', makes me wonder if he's got another name. I'm on the school's team although I'm on the bench most of the time. During a practice where everyone had to stand in the penalty area and play the ball into the net without any keeper at the goal post to catch, I pretty much messed up. On my first attempt I played the ball but it barely moved. It was like my leg didn't touch the ball. " Energy Jerkins! More energy!!", Coach shouted. "Try again". My second try was worse. I played the ball and it moved this time, just that it went way over the bar, not even close to the post and out of the field. "Jerkins!! Go get the ball. And never come back!!", Coach shouted. " But Coach...". " Never!!!". Coach has hated me since then but I know he means well. I loved football but I just couldn't play.

"Hey Nicholas, your girlfriend didn't come to school today". "Girlfriend?". "I mean Gwenda", Jason chuckled. He was right. She didn't come to school today. Her seat was the only empty one in class. "Hey Jason! For the record, she's not my girlfriend", I whispered back. "Nicholas would you like to help me clean the board?". "Sure Miss Jennifer", Nicholas replied as he got up to clean the board. "We'll be taking about organic chemistry...". Meanwhile, as Nicholas cleaned the board, the strangest thing happened. He could see through the board and the wall. He saw the activities going on in the next class. And he could hear them like he was standing in their midst. The students of the class were playing as their teacher was absent. "What th- the...". "Nicholas you've been staring at the board for more than a minute. Is something wrong? Do you see something?", Miss Jennifer asked, bringing him back to reality. " Yes! Yes! I mean no. I'm fine", Nicholas replied, shaking from head to toe. "Alright, you may have your seat", she said looking worried. Nicholas sat down, still terrified by what just happened.
