Rumbling Canyon (2)

Mian led the group deeper and deeper into the canyon without stopping for any detours. Thanks to his keen senses that could spot a concentration of Natural Energy from a reasonable distance, he was able to accurately keep track of where they were going, and so he was not scared of getting lost.

Aside from that, he and his group members were actively taking precautions to make sure that they would absolutely not lose their way back. They tied colored ribbons around rocks, and made markers that were obvious and easy to spot. Even though it would be hard for them to lose their way, they did not want to take any chances.

"How much farther do we have to walk? My fists are itching to punch something." Malim grumbled by the time they had spent an hour walking. He cracked his fists and looked at Mian who had held a hand up.

Mian's ears were twitching as he focused on something in the distance. He could not hear anything, but his twitching ears were just a result of how focused he was.
