The Dark Brotherhood's mage's eyes were full of terror as he saw the sword piercing his body. But things were far from over. The next second, a hand grabbed the back of his head. Utter horror appeared on his face as he felt a force reach into his energy pool and began to forcefully extract his mana-infused Spirit Force.
Cain, driven by desire and curiosity, decided to test the newfound power of the Eye of Gluttony. As the stream of energy and fragmented memories flooded his mind, he couldn't help but be drawn to the golden energy. A glimmer of a smile played on his lips as he wondered what type of ability would be granted.
Unfortunately for Cain, just as the golden energy was about to be forcefully taken from the ice mage's energy pool and implanted into his, it shattered into pieces, leaving nothing more than raw energy. The smile on the young man's face disappeared.
