Cain frowned as he gazed at the rest of the dragons, nodding to them as they raised their guards. Together with the angels and saintesses, they continued through the endless maze of mirrors. Attacks from Replicas came every few minutes, turning their journey into a relentless and exhausting gauntlet. The path was not just challenging—it was mentally and physically draining.
The most troublesome part, however, was that despite their continuous movement, they had yet to find even the slightest hint of the path to the next level. All they saw were the endless mirrors reflecting back their images from every direction. It felt as though the labyrinth itself was playing tricks on them, trapping them in an unending loop.
Even Cain, usually composed, couldn't help but feel a flicker of doubt. He honestly did not know if they were truly advancing or just moving in circles.
