A small smile arose on Cain's face as he observed the horrible and deep wounds on the Blood Dragon. It had pushed him to his limits and forced him into great danger, but the scarlet dragon had managed to inflict injuries that would tip the balance of this fight in his favor. Or so he thought.
The Blood Dragon gazed at its wounds, and instead of dread, a cold smile appeared on its face. Its eyes began to glow, and a unique power burst through its flesh and blood.
Under the shocked and stunned gaze of the scarlet dragon, a pillar of blood began to rise from the depths of ocean beneath them and fuse into the body of the Blood Dragon, hastily mending all its wounds and regenerating the damaged tissues. Cain was at a loss; the regeneration was so fast that before he could react, the Blood Dragon had completely healed, while he remained riddled with wounds from their fierce battle.
