Cain's eyes sharpened as he heard that single word from Mario's mind. There was no mockery or pity in Cain's gaze, only a calm recognition as if he understood the power of that emotion all too well.
"Vengeance, a good source of motivation," Cain said, his voice transmitted directly into Mario's mind. "It once kept me alive after my body was destroyed and my cultivation crippled." He recalled the time he first faced the Blood King when the name of the Scarlet King rose into the world. It was a memory drenched in fury, suffering, and the unyielding will to survive no matter the odds.
Mario stood there, confusion etched on his features. But before the Atrox could utter a word, Cain's eyes refocused. With a simple motion of his hand, Cain sent a Spirit Stone flying toward Mario.
Once more, Cain's voice echoed in Mario's head. "If you are still alive in three months, look for me. I will give you the power to obtain your revenge."
