Cain's eyes immediately grew sharp as he heard those words. There was no doubt that the Demon King was a Depravita, most likely one that had emerged from the same realm as Horus and those who attempted to conquer Aether. The realization settled heavily upon him.
When it came to the Depravita Race, even someone as cold and objective as Cain could not help but feel the coldness and killing intent, and there was nothing wrong with those feelings. After all, Horus and his kind killed billions of people in Aether and nearly severed his memories and willpower.
Of course, what the man was seeking now was a new beginning, a new path to rise above his nature. Yet, one good deed doesn't erase a bad one.
