However, Cain's awe and thrill did not distract him for long. Soon, focus and determination returned to his eyes as he saw how the gray gate had finally opened, revealing a portal.
"The Eternal Saga," he whispered.
A meaningful light appeared in Cain's eyes as he considered those words. Curiosity burned in his soul as he wondered what he would see on the other side. Without hesitation, he flapped his wings and rushed through the portal.
As Cain went through the grey portal for the first time, he felt the immense power it embodied. He sensed the raging might of hatred, the cycle of blood, the absoluteness of destruction, and the voracity of gluttony.
