MARRIAGE TO THE EMPEROR

It's been two weeks since I landed in this part of the world. My life and thought has been in puzzles. It's been a shocking coincidence that I had the same name, appearance and body structure as that of the original Mi Hu in this world.

The original Mi Hu ran away in frustration and fear of the Emperor when she head her marriage announcement with him.

She soon died the day I arrived here. She died out of cold and hunger. Well, these are just deductions by me because how come the real Mi Hu has not been found by now.

It's either she's dead or she also time traveled like me. Whether my deductions are true or not, all I'm able to think of is leaving this place as soon as I can.

Mi Hu's parents are kind and loving. Her elder sister, La La got married a year ago. Her marriage was a love kind of marriage as she got married to her childhood friend, Bai Rong.

Her parents expected their last daughter to also follow suit but things turned south when the Emperor held a ball.

Mi Hu had bumped into the Dowager Empress unknowingly. She had apologized which the Dowager Empress pretended to accept.

The Dowager Empress, in order to get 'revenge' on Mi Hu fixed her marriage with her son, the Emperor.

She threatened her son to get married to Mi Hu or else she dies. The Emperor, a tyrant, had no other choice but to follow his mother's wish thereby hating Mi Hu, though he'd not seen her before.

Mi Hu's parents understand everything but her father was just a court official and her mom, a homemaker.

That's why, her family has been supportive ever since she 'came' back. They were happy but sad at the same time. Happy, because their daughter came back and they were going to see her at least days before the wedding but sad, because she was going to face a new life, the castle life, without anybody to stand for her against the crazy Emperor and Queen Mother.

The crazy Emperor found out that Mi Hu had ran away. He was filled with rage and threatened the Mis' that if Hu is not found before the wedding date, all the members of the Mi family would be executed on that day.

News soon got to the Emperor that Mi Hu came back and the wedding preparation began in earnest which would hold in one week from now.

Most Dukes, court officials, party members, and other noble people who worked for the castle became green with envy.

At first, when they heard the wedding announcement of Mi Hu and the Emperor, they were angry and jealous. Most of them wanted their daughters to get married to the Emperor.

Later on, as Mi Hu's disappearance was spread, they started advising their daughters to entice the Emperor, but their timing failed as Mi Hu came too soon for their liking.

Her family noticed strange things and change in her behavior but didn't think too much because they thought it was out to self pity she behave strangely and hence even sympathize with her more.

Two days to the wedding, the Emperor sent for Mi Hu and her family for final preparations.

We were to stay there in order to meet up with the wedding since our town was far from the palace.

I took my bag, the one I came with which I hadn't opened so that my new family would not suspect me the more, and another bag with contains the original Mi Hu clothes and some necessities the real Mi Hu would carry.

We got to the palace at evening time. Some servants came and showed us our rooms. I was assist to a room close to that of my sister and her husband. I laid down on the gigantic bed and rested my head. I was too tired to start another session of thought.

Soon, I started sleeping. I never knew I was this tired. I was dreaming about kissing a famous celeb in my own world. Our lips were just about to touch when a disturbing knock kept ringing on my head and disrupted my sweet dream. I woke up so annoyed and stood up in anger. I was ready to lash out on the person at door.

I walked to the door in annoyance and forced it open. I was about to curse the person when I saw this handsome masterpiece face staring down at me in visible annoyance.
