He's a Demigod

Nox felt less tired than Raunos, he can get his stamina back much faster, he got to the roof to see the scenery at night, contemplating the beautiful sky, looking at the radiant lights and enjoying the calming sound of the huge waterfalls, he then felt someone appeared behind him.

"You seem troubled," said a female voice, Nox turned back to see that it was Amara who came to him on the roof.

"RedRobed !?" said Nox while surprised at her appearance.

"Haha, that's an outdated name, idiot, I'll properly introduce myself this time, I'm Amara Fireheart," said Amara.

"You've got a beautiful name, Amara," he said.

"And your name is very interesting, tell me what's troubling you?" she asked.

"Today at the training ground, General Godfrey merely threw me away, but it felt as if I'm crushed even before I hit the wall," said Nox.

"Godfrey is mean to use 'that' against you," she said.

"That?" asked Nox.

"It's a type of Aura that strengthens the body or any object you're in contact with," she replied.

"Such a thing exists?!" asked Nox.

"It's a difficult technique, when you reach a certain level, the Aura inside you begins to transform into a more solid form, anyway come with me, I wanna take you somewhere fun," she said.

"Where are we..." Nox said, interrupted by Amara, taking his hand and taking him away towards the centre of the city.

"This way is The Floating Castle..." said Nox, surprised by the view.

"You're also curious to see it up close right?" asked Amara.

"Yeah but wouldn't that put us in trouble?" asked Nox.

"Idiot, I'm the Vice City Lord, remember?" said Amara.

The two stand in front of the cloud-piercing waterfalls, they went somewhere into the centre of the pond and stood on a circular ground, in front of it is a statue of an angel.

"How can we get all the way up there?" asked Nox.

"There's a portal right here," said Amara.

"A portal..?" asked Nox.

Amara lifts her hand and activates a spell, both she and Nox disappeared, and they get teleported a 1000 feet above, to the floating castle's front gate.

"Amazing!!" said Nox.

"You're this surprised? I'm sure there was a portal at Blackwater City," said Amara, Nox didn't comment on that statement, ( I'm grateful to even remember my name) thought Nox.

"Alright let's go past the gate," said Amara.

Before they left, the portal activates again, and Nox suddenly feels like the air has become heavy, and breathing has become difficult, it's a level of pressure Nox has never experienced before.

"Oh! look who finally came, welcome back Thane," said Amara, the person who came is General Thane, the name Thane is of Scottish origin, it refers to a high-ranking nobleman serving his Lord with loyalty, General Thane's only responsibility is the safety of the City Lord.

"Hello Miss Amara, who's this guy?" asked Thane, he looks at Nox, immense pressure befalls him, Nox can barely remain standing.

"He's a newly recruited Oni, no need to be so tense," said Amara.

"Is that so, I was called by Master Lyra," said Thane.

"Head inside, you'll find her in the meeting room," said Amara, Thane leaves and enters the castle, with every step he makes, the pressure he exerted felt lighter, he is on a whole new level, after he left, Nox sighs in relief.

"What unimaginable pressure, who's that guy!" asked Nox.

"He's currently the 2nd strongest person in Waterfall City, an entity above tier 10," said Amara.

"There are ranks above tier 10??" asked Nox with his eyes wide.

"He's a Demigod!" said Amara.

"A Demigod?" Nox asked, not able to grasp the information that he heard.

"To think that even he would be cautious of you, you're indeed amazing," said Amara.

"I thought tier 10 were rare legends..., but to see one above that..." said Nox, and sweats under the pressure of such existence.

"They are indeed very rare, all of Eldoria kingdom only has around 8 tier 10 scattered around the big seven Cities, and even among those 8 only 3 are at the level of Demigod, Waterfall City has Thane, and the other two are at the FangRoar and Ryūshiro City," said Amara.

When a tier 10 soldier breaks the limit of tier 10 and goes beyond that, they're called Demigod, but even then, there are differences between Demigods, the ones at FangRoar and Ryūshiro are fundamentally stronger than Thane since they not only use Spiritual Energy but also Magic, as for Thane he relies on Spiritual Energy and pure physical power.

"When I saw General Godfrey, I thought he will be the strongest Tank I meet for a while," said Nox.

"Haha! That old coot wouldn't like that comment, but Thane is indeed different," replied Amara.

"You said he's a Demigod, what makes him so?" asked Nox.

"You remember when you took the power test?" asked Amara.

"Yeah, it's been just three days ago, I got 13.500," said Nox.

"That's good but still so far away," replied Amara.

"I know that I still have a long way to go, but I'm improving," replied Nox.

"No, I mean you're reaaally far away haha! Godfrey's power is 62.000, and that blockhead you killed is only15'500, he couldn't reach 15'600 and so he's not considered even a tier 8, if he was a tier 8, you would be in a big problem," said Amara, Nox couldn't believe what he just heard, he thought his improvement was already great, but hearing her words, he came to understand that if he wants to reach the top, he can't slack off anymore.

"I merely got lucky, yet he's so weak compared to Godfrey.., what about General Thane?" Nox asked.

"I'm not sure you're prepared to know," said Amara.

"I'm interested," Nox insisted that he knows.

"Alright get closer and listen carefully, Thane's power is..." said Amara, she told Nox about Thane's power level, the wind blows hard suddenly, even your friend the Author didn't her, Honestly :).

"How do you feel?" Amara asked, Box's jaw dropped, and he spaces out, thinking about the difference, the expression on his face shows how much he's shocked.

"That much!! He's....that strong??" asked Nox.

"He's a Demigod, and the other two are more terrifying as well, " said Amara.

"Amazing!" said Nox who is still shocked.

"Remember this feeling well, someday you have to surpass them all," said Amara.

"You seem too sure about that," said Nox.

"Let's go to my room, I have something to show you, handsome," said Amara as she touches Nox's face and looks into his eyes, Nox blushed, then takes her hand.

"I also have something to ask you, but wait, what's your power level, Amara?" asked Nox.

"That's a secret," Amara replied.

"That's not cool," said Nox.

"Then let's go," said Amara, pulling Nox's hand, the two head inside the palace, to Amara's room.
