After Ivan left me alone in the cave pool last night, we haven’t talked much, except for a few banal pleasantries. He said he was going to go out and find some food for me, while I slept, and he said that he was going to take the first watch. Being a vampire and all, I already assumed he was going to sleep during daylight while I kept watch. And then once night fell, we already decided we were going to move on.
When he left and left me alone, he made sure to go grab me a few of the Charovny Razsyp, just in case someone or something surprised me while he was hunting. I made a makeshift bed on the floor (there was no way I was sleeping in Baba Roga’s bed) and I tried to close my eyes and go to bed, but I kept thinking about that kiss and the way Ivan left in the middle of it.
