A fight to the Death

Clang! Clang! Clang! A loud banging on the door made Zane open his eyes. The rays of the sun danced their way into the jail room and Zane noticed that it was morning. He had not felt time pass at all, it was more like sinking into the depth of a pool, to relax in the underwater peace and swimming up to see that an entire night had passed.

He stood up and he felt that his steps were lighter, it was only when Zane turned to look at the guard that the stench that was everywhere suddenly filled his nose, he turned to the other side and threw up.

"You! The Prince wants to see you. Make yourself presentable." A man with reddish brown hair barked.

Zane almost rolled his eyes, he had seen the man among the guards yesterday and he had been the slowest to move when the assassin had attacked. He took a deep breath, at least this means that the prince is fine and wants to see him. Now, that an entire day has passed, the prince should be more reasonable.
