The sun had just begun to set, painting the sky with brilliant pinks, oranges, and blues. The elves were busy scurrying around the pad, tossing up their hands and uttering strange words with each wave of their fingers. A blue light began to emanate from their fingertips and it spread rapidly, illuminating the entire forest with a bright, ethereal hue.

Standing off to the side, watching silently and cautiously, was a group of soldiers. Their black body armor and blue-tinted goggles glinted in the light of the setting sun and the blue lines of the spell the elves were casting.

They were armed with laser guns - the newest technology on the market able to fire round after round with ease - and they seemed ready for anything.

Atop a chair, overlooking the entire scene, was a Dark. His pupils filled his eyes a brilliant blue, like the magic the elves were using. Darks were creatures similar to elves, having had magic born into them like the elves. However, unlike the elves, Darks were somewhat more subdued, preferring to stay in the background and remain unnoticed. They were one of the original creators of the 5th race, the Robos, however, the Robos had recently broken free of Dark control and had been causing a stir in the galaxy.

The Dark watched the elves with a serene expression, sipping his tea and smiling in contentment. Suddenly, another Dark appeared, hovering in the air next to him and crossing his arms.

"Look at these bitch made robots, only useful for doing work," The dark said laughing heartily.

"Shut up, Ryo!" the Dark said, "You know the Robos have been causing trouble lately. Many incidents--"

Ryo quickly hushed the other Dark with a finger to his mouth. "You're such a mood-killer, Dynasty," he said, his face still creased in a smile. "Even if these machines try to fight back, we can always rewrite them back. Even the leader robot, rumor has it he's under control too."

Dynasty sighed, looking up into the night sky. He could clearly see a carrier, the red and green flashing lights dancing in the sky. He knew who was coming for sure.

Ryo seemed to sense this too and jumped up out of his chair in excitement. He pointed his hand out like a gun, aiming it toward the chopper in the sky.

"Bang!" Ryo exclaimed, and suddenly the roots of the trees began to extend, turning into massive trees and striking the chopper. The tree shook the vehicle back and forth, its green deathly leaves sharp enough to cut a city, until finally, three bodies fell from the sky, blood splattering onto the blue pad.

The bodies all fell down towards the blue pad, all three of them except one felt like an odd one out. As if it wasn't supposed to be there. The robots stayed still in motion, waiting for the process to happen.

The tree retracted quickly, and Ryo jumped up in delight, clapping his hands together. The two bodies had melted into the blue pad themselves, the odd one out the only one remaining.

The third body was covered in a pitch-black mask, with wing-like ears on the side. It had enhanced black body armor and legendary shoes, a million units on the market. The body was truly one of a kind, and the race was unknown.

"An amazing sacrifice for the better of galaxy-kind," Ryo said, his eyes glistening with tears.

Dynasty chuckled before swaying his hands left and the robots started to fall back from the area, walking backward but their goggles, still glistening towards the blue pad. The sky had turned black and the blue light shined beautifully over the others in the area.

Ryo and Dynasty smiled, looking up to the sky. Dynasty walked away, but Ryo stayed behind, entranced by the spectacle before him.

Over in Jecoiya, many of the poor workers looked up at the blue beam, reaching all the way to the moon. Mr. Watson quickly shooed them away, muttering something about a celebration of Apex Prime. Marcel tried to catch a glimpse but was disappointed to find himself at the elf-safe house.

The exterior was not impressive, with its metal walls and rust all over, curses were painted and signs pointing that this place was an elven house. As Mr. Watson tried to enter boos were heard around him and Marcel, marcel didn't like this place but the interior was much better. Mr. Watson always preached that the exterior did not reflect the inside, and his house was certainly a testament to this. Marcel thought it was absolute bullshit, but he sighed and hung his coat up on the hanger.

Suddenly, two claps echoed through the air and doors swung open. Shoes and boots clattered on the floor as a group of people began to enter the room. Mr. Watson smiled, and Marcel felt a tinge of envy. He looked at the restraints on his hands and balled his hands into fists.

The door opened up and inside the systemo candles and glamorous lights lit the place up, this area was heavily customized towards elven culture, the inside was glamorous and protected by shields everywhere, while money was an issue the checks the government paid were enough for this house to be lively enough.

Mr. Watson and Marcel quickly hung their coats on the rack which floated back up into the sky, hiding for a clear view of the room. The coach suddenly formed and marcel sat down while Mr. Watson ran towards the kitchen to grab the medkit supplies.

Marcel looked at the cut on his arm, it wasn't deep enough to have poisoned systemo, which would kill him, but it could get infected. The cut had happened a week ago when the execution before the one today went on. The Prok that had attacked him had made the cut even worse, and the stitches broke.

Mr. Watson came to Marcel with a white box, a red cross that wrapped around the white box. Mr. Watson opened the box and grabbed alcohol and black stitches. Marcek closed his eyes and laid back.

"This is going to hurt, hold this thing in your mouth," Mr. Watson said, handing back a small white pipe.

Marcel grabbed the pipe and put it in his mouth and then Mr. Watson dumped a bunch of alcohol on his palm. Then he looked at marcel before slapping it on the wound. Marcel's eyes widened and he started to kick his legs, his teeth gritting on the white pipe.

Marcel gripped the white pipe with his teeth with all his force, at that point he could taste the pipe, the germs and more going down his throat. All he could do was bear it.

Marcel tried to stay still while Mr. Watson stitched him up, and it felt like hours went by before he was finally finished. When Mr. Watson was done, he handed marcel a bandage and a bottle of painkillers.

Marcel gingerly put on the bandage and swallowed the pills with a gulp. He thanked Mr. Watson and hobbled back to the coach, the pain in his arm burning through him.

As Marcel's eyes started to close, Mr. Watson picked his body up and made his head face the sky. He looked upwards and tears started to form as Mr. Watson walked away, he put his hand out towards the air and close his eyes, trying to make all the pain go away.
