"Finally, my beloved bed." Kael groaned as he collapsed on his bed tiredly after swiftly freshening up. His hands were spread out and started doing up and down motion, savoring the bed softness.

"So lame," Tanaka quipped while drying his hair out with a piece of towel.

"Said by a person who acted like a walking dead throughout the daytime." Kael rebuked under his pillow, causing his voice to be a bit muffled.

A few seconds passed, but Kael receives no response other than the feeling of an intense gaze on his back. Taking his head out of the pillow he shifted his body slightly and craned his neck to return the glare, "What?"

"Nothing," Tanaka replied shortly as he massaged his nape and saunter to his own bedside.

Staring at him weirdly, Kael withdrew his gaze after sensing that the drowsiness was slowly taking over his body. Letting out a yawn, he mumbled incomprehensibly, "I'm gowing sleep first. Send my regards to Galagar when he returned."

"Okay, goodnight." came a short reply from Tanaka.

In his dream, Kael found himself standing inside his house. Around him were broken vases, pieces of glasses, sandals, a rack, and other stuff scattered across the floor. In the living room, he discovered that the television was switched on and the screen is displaying a white screen with a big line saying "No Signal" in the middle of the screen.

His gaze then fell on the window which reflected his own appearance. Kael realized that his usual neat shoulder-length blondish hair is now messily sprawled all over the side of his face. Some bangs fell and blocked his eyesight. His eyes were bloodshot as though he hasn't slept and cried for a long time. Some splatters of blood were evident on his cheek, staining his beautiful face. Rather than making his face uglier, the blood is adding a bit of devilish charm to his face like Count Dracula.

As his gaze lowered, he saw both of his hands were soaked in blood. Involuntarily, his body instantly trembled in horror.

Then suddenly, he sensed that the surroundings had changed. He's now standing in a pool of blood with corpses littering around like trash. Like a magnet, his eyes were subconsciously attracted to one particular spot. There, he encountered the sight which will be forever deeply imprinted on his mind. Among the hundreds of corpses, he saw his own parents were also floating motionlessly.

Tears started pouring down from the corner of his eyes and raining across his cheeks. His hands instantly covered his mouth. And without making any loud noises, he weeps silently. He immediately wants to approach his parents, only to find out that his body is magically paralyzed. His feet won't comply with his demand and was remaining still. Without warning, his head is moving sideways without his control as if possessed.

Across from him, stood a man clad in a black outfit who is slowly walking away from the place. Despite only catching the glimpse of his back, Kael can feel a terrifying aura emitted from his body. It's like everywhere he goes, death will always follow. As if the man knew he was being watched, he halted his steps and glanced at Kael who was busily peeking at his back. The second their gazes intercourse, Kael's head instantly starts throbbing madly as if thousands of hammers were pounding on his head. His vision starts to distorted, and progressively blacked out.

"Hah!!" Kael jolted awake from his sleep as he tried to catch his breath. His heart was thumping furiously, and beads of perspiration had formed on his forehead. His back is drenched in sweats. A beam of moonlight shone through the window, landing precisely at the floor, barely illuminating the darkroom.

"What was that?? What is that dream just now?" Kael wondered while propping his forehead with his fingers to think of an answer to that strange dream of his. The dream looks real, but unreal at the same time. He rarely experiences a nightmare, and this was the first time he came across it within ten years. This makes him a bit perplexed and causes him to fall into a trance.

After a moment of blankness, he recollected himself and reached out for his phone to check the time.

"4 a.m," Kael mumbled under his breath. He then glanced at his left side and instantly spotted Galagar and Tanaka who looked like they were in a deep sleep.

'Seems like yesterday's activity really drain us.' Kael thought to himself as he rose from his bed and strode to the bathroom. After being disturbed by such a nightmare, Kael wasn't in the mood to resume his sleep. Hence, he plans to search for fresh air outside of the dormitory.

His sleepiness dissipated by a wide margin after splashing a palmful of water to his face. As he stared at himself in the mirror ahead of him, memories of the nightmare began to resurface. His face becomes pale at just the thought of it. Shaking off his head to brush that image off, Kael rushed out from the bathroom and changed to his outdoor attire. Which is a pair of flexible pants and a blank white shirt.

Because the student's dormitory is located in Sector 3, Kael had to jog for a few minutes to reach Sector 2 where the canteen and plaza were located. Undoubtedly, the best medicine for him to calm himself down was food. Food has always been his safe haven other than his parents. Whenever something bad occurs, and his parents aren't around, Kael resorts to eating plenty of food to cool off his head.

Much to his surprise, the canteen is opened at this hour.

"Is it open for 24 hours?" Kael muttered under his breath and walked inside. As he ordered his food, he decided to ask the question that was burdening him to the staff, "Is the canteen open for 24 hours?"

The young lady who looks similar to his age replied positively, "Yes because some students had a habit of lurking around in the night, the academy had to consider their behavior and thus, created a regulation where the canteen and other shops can operate for 24 hours as long as it doesn't disturb the school activity."

"Eh, so thoughtful." Kael praised wholeheartedly. If it was an ordinary academy or college, night hours ought to exist.

"Yup, I've also benefited from this since my lesson starts in the afternoon, I can earn some credit points by working at night." The woman smiled happily and handed over his tray of foods, "Here's your meal."

"Thanks." Kael accepted the tray and went to the cashier to pay for his food.

He then proceeded to saunter to the corner table just beside a window with a small pond view. Feeling slightly better after admiring the scenery, Kael retracted his gaze and was about to dig his food when his eyes caught the sight of a familiar figure, "Hey!"
