Domineering

*Rumble* *Rumble*

*Rumble* *Rumble*

Noises of violent footsteps accompanied by piercing roars continue to echo across the desert, creating a somewhat scene as though hell breaks loose.

Clouds of dust begin to accumulate as the creatures advance, from afar, it seems that a sandstorm is slowly approaching.

As the noises grow more profound and closer, the man who was standing in their way remains still. In fact, he seems to have no intention of moving away, akin to an immovable mountain. His shining bald head reflected the sun, and his gaze was deep as a black hole.

As their distance narrowed, the mutated creatures' appearance was slowly being unveiled vaguely from the cloak of a massive sand tempest. They got a slender-neck-like giraffe, a round body, and a pair of wings that were coated with massive steel-black sharp feathers.

When the man comes upon their sight, they simultaneously let out a terrifying shriek and flap their wings dominatingly. Following which, sharp feathers began to shoot toward the man's direction.

*Whoosh* *Whoosh*

*Whoosh* *Whoosh*

Like a machine gun, a barrage of feathers fired upon the man.

Faced with their abrupt aggression. The man merely stomped his foot lightly on the ground. That instant gushes of white light oozed out from the ground he trampled.

It was important to note that the desert has an ambient temperature of around 38-degree Celsius. However, something unexpected happens presently. Without warning, the temperature was plunging at an insane speed. Subsequently, the supposed scorching sands gradually covered in a layer of ice.

It turns out the sand was freezing!

The freezing process continued to expand at an alarming rate. During that process, all the feathers that are halfway through hitting the man are slowed down before turning into ice and eventually falling down like a broken kite and shattering into pieces on the icy surface.

*Clank* *Clank*

*Clank* *Clank*

In conjunction with the low temperature, mist gradually shrouded the surrounding area.

When the moving ice reached the horde peripheral of mutated creatures, they couldn't help but shiver despite the thickness of their wings. They were about to flee when they realized that they couldn't move their feet as though they stepped into a land mine.

They were actually just aware that their feet were no longer under their control! Undoubtedly, the insane speed of the Ice Path was catching them off guard.

Furthermore, the dust they progressively accumulated as they marched also became frozen. The dust transformed into a countless droplet of small circular ice. The original hovering dust immediately fell like a carpet bomb at the entangled beast.

The half-frozen horde could only roar in pain as they experienced their bodies slowly attacked by the droplets of ice. A droplet of ice will damage nothing, but what will happen if the amount is measureless? This is what the beast is suffering!

By the end of the day, the man didn't even lift his hand and merely stomped his foot in order to repel the entire horde consisting of hundreds or perhaps thousands of mutated animals.

"Huff…" Kael vented out a refrained breath. His eyes are glittering with excitement while wondering when he will reach the mysterious man level on Ice Path. It was simply devastatingly gorgeous!

Then a thought surfaced in his mind. If I'm not wrong, the person who demonstrated Incinerate was not bald. But, from the video I just watched the man had a light bulb head. Are they a different person? Or is it the opposite?

No matter how much he racked his memory, Kael couldn't find his answer since both man features were vaguely blurred.

Forget it, I'll think about it later. Furthermore, there are dozens of videos ahead waiting for me to open. I can slowly decipher the identity of the system creator as I progressed.

[50 EXP has been awarded]

In Kael's third match, he suffered a defeat after matching against a healthy opponent who hadn't gone to any battle yet. It was within his expectation to be lost after consecutively battled against two strong opponents at the same level as him.

However, Kael wasn't even slightly disappointed by the result. After all, he originally never had the goal to become the champion of this sparring. His first goal was only to test whether he'll receive EXP or not after defeating an opponent Hence, after achieving his goal, he was happy for whatever outcome waited for him.

Kael spent the following hours sleeping and occasionally watching the game if it piqued his interest. But most of the time, he just dozed off. Though, it's rather weird to see it from another perspective. Sleeping while you're literally unconscious?

"So, brother, who do you think is gonna win?" Kael heard the man beside him asked in a tone of curiosity.

"Kyleigh looks like he's in better shape than Taraka. I think he has better odds of winning the match." Kael narrated his thoughts without glancing at the man.

His hypothesis was soon to be proven true. Because Kyleigh's opponent has been a bit weary since the beginning of the round, the battle ended up pretty much one-sided, with Kyleigh being in advantage the whole time.

After the little sparring session had ended, Jerome and Alisa gathered the students in the same spot.

As they swept their gaze across the students, Jerome started opening his mouth and said, "Firstly, I want to congratulate Kyleigh for emerging as the winner of this little competition. Later on, when we returned to the real world. I'll give you a little prize."

Hearing his statement, many students cried out in regret, "Had I known about this prize thing, I will not even hesitate for a second to draw out my full power."

"Why didn't you tell us about this prize, instructor? I'm confident that I can win if I choose to participate."

"Heh, so confident? Aren't you afraid to swallow your own saliva? I without a doubt much stronger than you."

"What do you mean by that? If you're the strongest here, why I never heard your name? Who are you?"

"I'm your father, get lost, you weak freak."

Arguments here and there start to break out, mainly discussing they were the one who worthily the champion title instead of Kyleigh. Some students also begin to showcase each of their own abilities and declare that they were better candidates than Kyleigh. All in all, the situation shifted into chaos.

Seeing this, Jerome and Alisa shook their heads helplessly. They can't imagine how a simple statement like that could create chaos between them easily. Aren't teenagers nowadays too immature? What would these kids do if they taunted by their enemy? Jerome and Alisa couldn't imagine what that scene would be like.

Jerome silently signaled Alisa to control the crowd to which she willingly agreed.

She suddenly pointed her slender finger upward. At first, no one paid attention to her action. But after they sense that the temperature is rising uncontrollably to the extent they even felt their skins slightly burned, only then they realize that a house-sized fireball was proudly floating atop Alisa's finger.

"Now, can we talk normally?" Alisa said with a sweet smile. But everyone gulped at her smile since they were not dense enough to not understand the hidden threat beneath her smile despite their immaturity.

"S-sure, Instructor Alisa." One of the students stutteringly replied. From today onward, they silently vowed that they wouldn't show their competence to each other in front of their instructor and will only act docile onward.
