Chapter 20: The Conspiracy Deepens

Emma's mind was racing as she left the lab. She couldn't shake the feeling that Dr. Kim was hiding something from her. And she was determined to find out what it was.

As she walked back to her dorm room, Emma noticed a strange man following her. He was tall and imposing, with a menacing scowl on his face.

Emma quickened her pace, but the man kept following her. She could feel his eyes on her, and it made her skin crawl.

Suddenly, the man grabbed Emma's arm and spun her around. "You're a very curious girl, aren't you?" he sneered.

Emma tried to shake off his grip, but he held tight. "Let me go!" she demanded.

The man smiled, revealing a set of crooked teeth. "Not until you answer my questions," he said.

Emma's heart was racing as the man dragged her into a nearby alleyway. She was trapped, and she didn't know what to do.

Just as the man was about to interrogate her, a group of students walked by, laughing and chatting. The man quickly released Emma's arm and disappeared into the shadows.

Emma breathed a sigh of relief as she watched the man disappear. She was shaken, but she was determined to get to the bottom of the conspiracy.
