No dream

It was strange. Ashlynn didn't dream that night. She always dreamed. Sometimes she didn't remember them, which was rare, but never had she had no dream.

What did this mean? Was she too tired to dream?

For some reason, her hands wouldn't stop shaking since she woke up.

Was she just really cold? Or was it something else?

She knew she didn't dream because if she did she would of felt like she was missing something, like she was forgetting something important.

Maybe she was just in too deep of a sleep to dream.

Since there wasn't a Dream for you all today, enjoy this rant.

What are dreams? Why do we dream? Is it to entertain ourselves in our sleep? Humans can't be bored for long before they completely lose it.

What's the point in dreaming? What's the point in sleep? To regain our energy, of course, but is that all? Is there a certain meaning behind dreams?

What's the point in all of this? To live? Or is it to die? What's the point in us? In humans? Why are we here? What's our purpose?

What if we weren't here? What if we were on a different planet?

What if we were never born? What happens to our conciseness? Do we still exist? Or will our to-be-selves just never exist?

What about after we die? There's many theories on that, but are any of them actually true? What if religion is just a bedtime story to tell children before they go to sleep? What if it's just something for people to believe in but not live out? How do people feel if they figure this out, if it's true.

If there were gods, what are they doing? If gods created us, why did they? Were they bored?

What would happen if our sun never existed? Would we be on a different planet? Would everything look different? Would WE look different?

Hopefully you enjoyed this little rant. And a fair warning, the dreams do jump from one scene to another without any transition.
