Chapter 3
"Good evening Mrs. Anderson, I am Mr. Quinstone and I would like to speak with your son. May I come in?"
"Sure come in Mr Quinstone," Mum replied.
"Andrew, Mr Quinstone is here to see you."
I quickly washed up and met Mum engaging Mr Quinstone in a conversation.
"Good evening Mr Quinstone. "I kindly interrupted.
"Mr Anderson Jnr kindly have a seat."
Just then Mr Quinstone kindly asked Mum to excuse us.
"Sure, If you need anything I'll be in the kitchen," Mum stated.
"Mr Anderson I believe you have received the letter your father sent you."
"Yes Mr Quinstone, I have received it but I can't accept to be king."
"Mr Anderson I hope you are very well aware of the current situation of the kingdom of Dunksonburg. I would kindly suggest you think this through. Both the people and the kingdom depend on it. Now I would like to kindly take a leave."
"Let me kindly escort you out Mr Quinstone". As we were out in the doorway Mr. Quinstone asked,
"Does Mrs Anderson know about the current situation?"No, not yet." I replied
"Mr. Anderson it's best if you don't tell her about this it might be a catastrophe for your father to deal with."
" I would make sure she doesn't find out then, "I answered.
"Alright then, have a good night Mr. Anderson,
"Mr Quinstone said as he left in his car. After the talk with Mr Quinstone, I was lost in thoughts to accept my duties and responsibilities as the next king of the throne of Dunksonburg so much that I dozed off as soon as my head reached for the pillow.
The next morning I woke up as usual and got ready for the day. As I walked with John, I couldn't help but think about what Mr Quinstone had talked about last night. Immediately I heard John call Emily's name.
I quickly turned to see if Emily was around just then John said "Gotcha Man! Dude, you have a thing for her." "Yeah Man, Good one," I replied as we entered the school building.
Meanwhile, As we walked down the school hallway we were blocked by the three jerks Brad and his gang.
"Yo, Anderpunk guess what don't mess with me else, remember" He said as he was clutching his fists.
I immediately knew what he was trying to mean here but Man just ignore and walk away before you end up in the detention office. So Man that's what I did.
Later in the day, I met Emily and John for our group studies in the library. Man, I nailed it when I and Emily were sitting next to each other. Man, she's gorgeous. Just then Brad walked in with his gang.
They began to interrupt others when they were trying to study. I was so busy viewing Emily up close when Brad came up to me.
"Hey, Anderpunk, guess what man."
"What" I abruptly replied.
"Feeling kind of bored, so I was wondering if I could join ya man," Brad said.
I was a bit surprised as to why Brad would want to join us in studying but I just agreed and allowed him to join us and man was that a terrible decision.
As we were studying I knew Brad was trying to put his arm around Emily but Emily refused and told him to leave her alone but Brad wasn't having that. So I decided to stand up to Brad again.
"Man, what's your problem,"
"Well, Well, Well Anderpunk standing up for his girlfriend. What are you going to do to me if I don't man."
"Then you'll have a taste of me" I replied.
Immediately, I landed a punch on his face and both of us fought till the headmaster separated us and man, just as you would expect we ended up in detention.
At least, I was happy I was able to defend Emily and teach him a lesson even if it was for a while it felt good. After school, we were both sent off with a warning and man, the headmaster spoke a lot. Emily later came up to me and thanked me for standing up to Brad.
Later on, I received a talk from Mum and Dad on the phone and trust me it didn't go very well. I was glad that tomorrow was a Saturday. Finally, I could relax but just then I was interrupted when Mum wanted to talk to me about something urgent that had to do with Mr Quinstone and Dad. I was a bit shocked but later I approved.
"Um, I know it sounds a bit peculiar but don't you think that Mr Quinstone....
