Caught In The Act!

"...Or… should I say Mr. Lei Qingshan?" Liu Jiangou asked with a smirk on his face.

For a second, Lei Qingshan's face twitched. But he calmed down and asked "Lei Qingshan? Is it someone I know, CEO Liu?" Lei Qingshan smiled as he saw Liu Jiangou's defeated expression.

'You thought that you can expose me, father-in-law?' He chuckled inwardly and behaved the same way how he used to be.

Liu Jiangou laughed loudly.

'Why is he laughing?' Lei Qingshan thought inwardly. He became baffled as he heard Liu Jiangou's loud laugh.

"You think I will believe your rubbish, Mr. Lei Qingshan? My daughter might be fooled by you but,… I.." Liu Jiangou stopped and walked closer to Lei Qingshan. Looking coldly in Lei Qingshan's eyes, he completed his sentence "I won't be fooled by you, Mr. Lei Qingshan… Never!"

Now, that Liu Jiangou found out that it was he, himself… Lei Qingshan realized that it was a waste for him to keep on pretending. With a sigh, he sat on the swivel chair and said "Now, that I'm caught… what do you plan of doing, CEO Liu or… should I say… my ex father-in-law?" He smirked and kept his legs on the table.

Then, he immediately kept them down and covered his mouth with his hands. "Ooops! Where are my manners? I should respect my elders, shouldn't I?"

"I knew it ever since the hugging incident…. I was just trying to confirm but I think it took much time for me to confirm things. Now, that it is confirmed… leave my daughter alone!" Liu Jiangou angrily yelled at Lei Qingshan.

Scratching his head, Lei Qingshan got up from the chair and walked closer to Liu Jiangou. Leaning towards his ear, he whispered "If I had to leave your daughter alone… I wouldn't have come here as Ji Min Jun, CEO Liu."

Liu Jiangou tightly clenched his fingers into a fist. He was getting boiled with anger upon hearing Lei Qingshan's words. He wanted to lift his hand and slap on Lei Qingshan's face but he remembered his daughter's face as he saw his swollen lips…

'He kissed my daughter with those lips…'

As Liu Jiangou saw him leaving, he said "I will make sure Liu Rushi gets to know it. She already hates you… and by knowing this, she will hate you more."

Keeping the door half open, Lei Qingshan turned around. "Do you think your daughter will believe what you tell her after what happened today? Forget that, tell me will she even let you come near to her after what you did to her?" Giving an evil grin, he walked out of the room.

With trembling hands and legs, Liu Jiangou sat on the swivel chair. "What he said was actually right. Will she even listen to me? This was the first time I ever scolded her…"

He immediately took out his phone and called Liu Rushi. But the phone wasn't picked up. He called again and again but it was futile. He instantly disconnected the call and called Feng Xinglang.

After a few rings, Feng Xinglang picked up the phone "Yes, Sir?"

"Did Liu Rushi leave the office?"

Feng Xinglang who was just arranging the papers in the printing room answered "Sorry, Sir! I was in the printing room so, I don't know."

"Find out where she is, RIGHT NOWWW!" Liu Jiangou yelled and hung up the phone.

Walking out of the room, he searched for Liu Manni's contact and called her.

"Yes? You rarely call during this time… Is something the matter?" Liu Manni asked worriedly.

"Did Liu Rushi call you or something?"

"No, did something happen?"

Waiting in front of the elevator, Liu Jiangou said "I will tell you when I'm home… Just inform me if Liu Rushi heads back home, okay?" He hung up the phone and entered the elevator.

'I think I was really harsh on her… I shouldn't have said that to her.' He regretted scolding her… 'It wasn't her fault and yet… I just scolded her!' He punched his hand on the side of the elevator.

Sitting inside the cab, Liu Rushi saw her father calling her… She just let it ring… When the phone came again, she switched off her phone and kept it inside her bag. She had decided to head back home but now… she didn't feel like doing so.

"Take me to Passion City Nightclub, please." She requested the cab driver and rested her head on the back seat of the cab.

The cab driver took a U-turn and headed to Liu Rushi's requested destination.

Meanwhile, being in his car, Lei Qingshan called on Liu Rushi's phone… But he received no answer from her. It only said that the phone was switched off.

"Damn." He threw the phone on the car seat. "Why is her phone even turned off?"
