“I’m not completely sure. I know I said I learned a lot in school, but I don’t think I want to teach. I was thinking museum work. It might be more my style,” James said.
Howard nodded and said, “That makes sense.”
“I have some clients who work at the museums. I could put you in contact with them,” Jason said.
“And there are people in our neighborhood who docent at some of the Smithsonians,” Howard added.
“I actually am going to be volunteering at the Holocaust Museum this summer. I arranged it all by myself without any help or connections,” James said.
“Good job,” Howard said, patting his son on the arm.
“We could go by there after lunch,” Jason suggested.
“Nope. I want you guys to come by, but after I know what I’m doing. I want this to just be a mething for now,” James said.
“Sounds fair,” Jason said, proud of the fact that his son, who had always been less independent than Janey, seemed to be coming into his own a little more.
