When Christian saw the pictures of his one and only niece abducted like this by a lowly fool, his anger skyrocketed.

The blood on her hands and legs, her pitiful face made him almost lose his sanity. Christian's niece should be taken care of and should treat like a princess, is lying there like a jail prisoner.

He looked like a beast ready to pounce on his prey but immediately calmed down, thinking this is not the time to get angry.

He would make that scum bag of a man payback with thousand folds for this.

He gave orders specifically to bring his niece without anyone noticing. After disconnecting the call, he called ariel's grandfather to inform the same.

Listening to this, Ariel's grandfather got relieved and thought once she returns, he will teach her all the things so that she will never suffer in this world.

Ariel thought these people who are bringing her out from Xander's side. With much difficulty, she opened her mouth but got nothing.

Her mouth is dry, and nothing came out of her mouth. Coughing lightly, she indicated them for some water.

Taking this as an opportunity, she tried to struggle free from these people who she thought are here to kill her.

She doesn't want to die, never like this. She should prove her innocence and make that shameless couple pay for their mistakes.

When she started struggling, her wounds also started to bleed profusely. Panicking the head of the group said, "stop torturing yourself like this, we are not here to kill you but to rescue you.

I never thought you to be this stupid in choosing a life partner. Overall the people you met till now, you decide to be with that worthless person.

I always thought you to be cautious tsk, tsk what have you done with your self, if your brother saw you like this I don't know what he will do to that shameless couple.".

Before she recognizes him, the man then introduced himself saying, "young miss, I am Peter, and we are your uncle's men—the same Peter you used to play when visiting your maternal uncle Christian.

We are here to take you away from this place and hand you over to your grandfather. Later on, you can decide what to do with the person and yourself. For now, please cooperate with us".

His subordinate came back with a fresh bottle of water and gave it to ariel. Peter twisted its cap and gave it to ariel.

She drank a mouthful of water and thanked him while thanking she accidentally spilled some water on the ground.

At first, she looked confused as to why he called himself as her uncle Christian's men, but she didn't probe and let it go.

Grunting in response, he scolded her, "stupid woman, this is your fault to start with, once you get back on your feet, remember to teach all of these people a lesson."

While she successfully got out of that dark room, the couple has almost done with their greetings and proceeded to wind off the party.

Rachel, looking here and there, casually greeted and thanked the guests' congratulatory words glanced at the third floor.

Sensing something is moving on that floor, she immediately signaled one of their maids to look there. Xander is engaged in some business conversations with the guests.

Xander is one of the famous producers in the entertainment industry and owns a production for himself.

Rachel is one of the models turned actress who works under his modeling and production house called "Pink modeling and productions."

These two people enjoyed all the fame and awards of latching ariel's hard work. Xander is a namesake head for the PINK.

It was ariel who used to sort out scripts, actors, and actresses for his production agency. She was also the primary investor of the company.

Xander looking at Rachel's tensed face smoothing her shoulder, said, "what happened? Are you tired..? bear with this for little time; we will wind this up and rest. What's with the tensed did something happened."

Xander, there is some movement on the third floor, do you think someone informed about her to her grandfather.

We should be more careful. I have sent a maid to look there. What do you think..?" Rachel asked.

Xander laughing wickedly, "don't be silly; what will her grandfather do to us at this time..?

Every one knows what a lousy character she has. Probably her grandfather will be hiding somewhere to avoid all these negative comments.

I heard his company is losing shares continuously, and all the shareholders are backing out. I wish it goes bankrupt.

He can't even protect his company, how can he protect her. Don't worry, wait for the maid to come".

Xander is full of himself thinking Ariel still loves him, and he can manipulate her after the engagement ceremony.

After all, he is doing the same thing all this while latching on her hard work and intelligence. It was her who brought them all this fame and reputation in society.

Once they got what they want, they tossed her like used shoes and toyed with her until she lost all her dignity and pride.

Saying, so he took her and him to greet some potential directors to have a chat with, Rachel had recently won the best actress award for this annual film award ceremony.

Xander wanted to utilize this opportunity to make some money using her fame, so he took her to one of the country's famous directors in the country. The engagement banquet is almost finished.

Once again, congratulating the newly engaged couple, guests started leaving the place.

The maid Rachel sent is on the second floor, she was about to set on the third floor, but someone behind called her saying he got lost and wants her to help.

The maid looked at the handsome man and happily went with him to take him into the banquet. Heaving a sigh of relief, Peter took ariel into his hands and asked her if there is any backdoor.

Ariel informed him to go to the first floor and into the kitchen. Then they will be able to see a back door which leads to the outside of the house.

Listening to her, Peter immediately started moving swiftly and ordered his men to follow him.

While leaving, he informed the person to stay in the banquet and observe them until they reach the car parked on the front door of the house.

The maid showed him the way of forgetting her purpose went back to do her work. When Rachel saw her, she clutched her hand and took her to alone place.

Rachel questioned her whether she saw anyone on the third floor, not knowing what their mistress is asking she informed "no mistress, I have not seen anything apart from a person who lost his way on the second floor."

Listening to this, Rachel heaved a sigh of relief and went back to Xander. The banquet finished, Xander and Rachel, along with their families, went to their rooms.

Xander's parents are too happy and were fawning at Rachel saying it is their good fortune that she became daughter in law of their house unless that bad woman.

One of his men stayed behind to analyze the situation informed that they have done with the banquet; guests all left already.

The woman they were lousy mouthing is already rescued and safely going back to her grandfather.

Ariel looked back at the house, which she bought with her hard-earned money while she was into modeling, because of this family, she lost her glory and willingly left the entertainment industry.

Swearing to take revenge for all the humiliation and helplessness she felt, she closed her eyes, asking Peter to wake her up once they reach her grandfather's house.

Months of torture she felt in that house are still fresh in her mind. She felt terrible for the baby she lost because of their cruelty.

Christian asked Peter to bring ariel to his mansion in the middle of the way if something went wrong, and they notice her departure.

Rachel softly reminded Peter's mother, "mother in law do not badmouth ariel as she also loved Xander dearly and helped us a lot. She is a charming person.

Peter's mom exploded, listening to her words, "Rachel, you don't know anything about that woman, she always argues with me and never obeys me.

Moreover, she is a woman with no mother to guide her and reprimand her for her mistakes. Such a bad woman doesn't deserve your pity".

They went on with their rantings and stopped when rache said, enough mom, we should stop and get back to rest as we all are tired with the engagement ceremony.

Saying, so she was about to go inside her room when Xander said, Rachel, we have engaged already so we can sleep in the same bedroom.

Not knowing there will be havoc in their lives soon, they happily went to take rest.
