It was about 3 meters long, and its color was green with some black spots on its body. Slowly approaching it, Lu Shen use his ability to see it's status.

Slowly, he closed in on the wood snake. The beast, it was basking in the sun and nestled within a large boulder, was completely unaware of Lu Shen approach. It was about 3 meters long, its green body covered in black spots that allowed it to blend seamlessly with the forest floor.
Lu Shen's steps were light and measured, each movement calculated to avoid any unnecessary noise. He knew that a single misstep could alert the snake and turn the predator into the prey.
When he was within striking distance, Lu Shen paused, steadying his breath and focusing his spiritual energy into his fists. He activated his Bloodline skill, Inferno Strike, feeling the familiar surge of fiery energy coursing through his veins.
With a swift and decisive movement, Lu Shen launched his attack.
"Inferno Strike!"
he muttered under his breath, his fists engulfed in a blazing aura. He moved with blinding speed as his figure became blurred.
"Boom!"
The impact of his fists colliding with the snake's head echoed through the forest, A violent fire erupted, burning some trees.. The force was so immense that it created a huge hole in the boulder upon which the snake had been nestled, that impact send rock fragments flying in all directions.
"Howl!"
The wood snake let out a pained cry as Lu Shen's fists crushed its skull. Blood and brain splattered, staining Lu Shen's hands in red. The snake's body shook for a moment before falling lifeless to the ground.
This time, he easily killed the rank one demon beast easily because his strength had grown significantly, surpassing that of a normal rank one demon beast. The surprise attack had caught the wood snake off guard.
Looking at the dead snake, Lu Shen felt a mix of satisfaction and caution.
