The Devil's New Fruit

I wake up from my little rest feeling no exhaustion that I had earlier. I check my surroundings to see if anyone is near but I found no one but I can't help notice the devastation caused by my fight earlier. Practically half of the Upper Yard is destroyed with no signs of life left.

I feel something in my pockets so I pulled it out and remembered that I turned Enel's power back into a devil fruit. I examine the Blue apple-shaped devil fruit that has black lightning bolts covering the fruit.

I debate whether to eat it or save it for a potential crew number. After some thinking I decide not to eat it because I've already got a powerful attack so I don't need anymore.

One thing that I have yet to do is go through Enel's memories to find any useful information I could use. While I search through his memories I see how he got his power then used it to slaughter his people and kill the God/ruler before him.

I search for other information from his memories. one thing I found out was there's a ruin above the Upper Yard called Shandora that used to be a part of Jaya before it was hit by the knock upstream. It also has a poneglyph which is supposed to contain information about the void century even though there's no recorded information about that time period.

With this newfound information, I summon my wings and fly to the ruins of Shandora. Once I get there I see why it's nicknamed the city of gold, Even though its ruins there's still gold buildings covered in moss.

I search through the ruins to see if there's any interesting items or rooms. I mostly find empty rooms but then I find the room with the poneglyph. I can read now extinct language thanks to Lucifer who taught me the basics during one of our little chats. He said there would be Steles with information about the time period where the Celestial Dragons waged war.

From what I could read it said that there's another poneglyph with information on the golden bell in shandora. Before I leave I check the room using observation haki to see if there are any hidden surprises. Imagine my surprise when I found there's a hidden door, so I punch through it *too lazy to find a way to open it*.

When I enter through the hidden door I find treasure in the forms of jewellery, gold bars and chests. I spend 20 minutes going through the chests finding more gold and jewellery until I found a pink devil fruit shaped like a pear with black numbers scattered across the fruit.

I examine it for a minute with excitement because it's the second devil fruit I've found. Finding this has made the trip to Skypiea absolutely worth it. I debate whether to eat it or not because if I eat it means I can only eat one more devil fruit and it could be another Zoan type which could kill me.

I decide to take the risk because it must be powerful for it to be hidden in a secret treasure room in a city of gold. I eat it in one go, but I forgot how terrible devil fruits taste. With nothing happening to me I take it as a good sign that it's not a zoan.

With that worry out of the way, I try to find out the powers of the new devil fruit. After a series of testing I know its not a logia type because I couldn't create, control or transform into any element. So with it not being a logia type, it must be a paramecia type.

While I try to find out what this paramecia devil fruit can do the ceiling of the room starts to collapse so in an effort not to be crushed I release all my power. With a couple of seconds go by I realise the broken pieces of the ceiling have stopped in mid air. I look around to find a transparent dome have formed engulfing the entire room. I go and inspect the pieces that have stopped, after inspecting them more I try flicking my hand upwards.

What happened next amazed me. The pieces started to float back up to the place they were when the dome formed. I realise then that I have the ability to manipulate TIME.

I start to shake with joy because this ability has so many uses and is powerful. After calming down I remembered that the ceiling is starting to collapse so I exit the room then exit the building. when I snap my fingers I hear the sound of the ceiling finally crashing down.

Not wanting to leave all that treasure in that room under the rubble I use the Toki Toki fruit powers (time) so I lift the rubble slowly by forming time orbs to lift the pieces. After 30 minutes I gather all I treasure I wanted because I can't carry it all and head towards the Golden bell to read the second poneglyph.

When I reach the Golden bell I take a minute to look at it because it's so unique. After taking it in l finally read the text inscribed on the bell. The text described where to find an ancient weapon that was named after a god which was Poseidon.

I read the text again to make sure I didn't miss anything but I notice another piece of text engraved next to the poneglyph.

" I made it here, I will guide this text to the ends of the earth

Gol D Roger"

Reading that took me by surprise because I never expected to see Rayleigh's former captain name on this poneglyph.

With that done I go to leave but I can't resist ringing this bell because it's so big and I'm curious to what sound it'll make. I coat my hand in armament haki and hit it with all my strength. when I hit the bell starts swinging. Then a song starts playing which I listen to until I decided I heard enough.

I start walking away to leave Skypiea but I hear a lot of people coming this way. So I summon my wings and fly back down to Angel Island because I don't want to deal with all those people.

As fly away I see large groups of people heading up to the Upper yard to get to the ruins. Some of them notice me so I just smile at them and fly off.

I keep flying until I reach the tunnel that connects to Heavens Gate. While I fly down the tunnel I pull out a map of the Grand Line Rayleigh gave me during my training. WhenI find the way to Alabasta I start heading there. Once I get my bearings I fly at full speed out of Heavens Gate and back down the knock upstream.

On the way to Alabasta, I decide to call Hancock using my Transponder Snail. I pull out the transponder snail and call Hancock " burururu *click* hello". I clear my throat " hello Boa it's Samael I thought you'd like to know how skypiea went"

There's silence for a moment until she responds with interest " of course how did it go". I spend the next 10 minutes telling her all about it including the people, the fight against Enel, my new devil fruit and the poneglyphs.

Boa's reaction to my story was a mixture of surprise, happiness and respect because of what I was able to accomplish. So after I finished my story " So Boa have you missed little old me since the last time we saw each other hahaha".

All I can hear is her clicking her tongue " no I didn't because believe it or not I don't care that much about you". I wait a few moments before laughing " hahahah but didn't you blush the last time I saw you. So does that mean you actually care hahaha"?

Boa starts stuttering " n.n.no I didn't you fool. You're just letting your imaginations run wild!". I keep laughing " hahaha whatever you say Boa I bet your blushing right now hahaha. Well I'll talk to you again sometime soon. Bye Beautiful".

Before she can argue I end the call. Now it's time to go after Crocodile .

Meanwhile on Amazon Lily...

Hancock is sitting on her throne blushing quite a lot " that damn kid the next time I see him I will throttle him. Although it was nice hearing from him again" her initial scowl now turns into a small smile.
