The Journey.

Queen Ariadne's POV.

I woke up when I heard music from the top of the ship. It was loud enough to wake an angry shark. I sat up and drew my blanket down. The moon was out when I looked through the window. Even the stars were shining so brightly.

The music continued and something told me to go up there but I was afraid to. What if someone recognized me? Maybe those who have attended the Emperor's parties before.

I sat back and listened to the music. My mind wandered to the problem I just created. Mother was going to break down if she finds out that I left the palace.

I did not think of her when I was leaving. Tears rolled down my cheeks. She was already sick because of what happened to me. Now, she was never going to get better after this.

As for prince Edward, I knew he was going to be hurt. But the pain will go away someday. With princess Marlena by his side, he would.
