240 Tribulation(3)

The qi in nicks body before he ascended was dense and tyrannical but only now after having ascended did nick truly understand the difference in levels between the two energies as his qi no longer felt dense so much as it now felt like an abyss with seemingly no end. this change in quality was so large that for a moment nick struggled to control his qi as it felt foreign almost to him. as soon as nick managed to control his energy the heavens rumbled as if to remind him that he was in the middle of a tribulation causing him to turn his attention back to the sky. once nick focused on the sky again a lick bolt of golden lightning the size of his arm shot down towards him tyrannically. the bolt of lightning had an aura of innate destruction while simultaneously bearing a hint of creation. nick had no time to ponder this seemingly impossible mix as the bolt collided with his fist before ignoring it entirely and rampaging within his body scorching his flesh and drying his blood.

It was at this moment that nick realized that he could only use things related to his body refinement to withstand this kind of tribulation. nick hurriedly used his refinement technique to repair the damage done to his body only to realize that the hint of creation in the bolt was doing so to begin with. from the time the bolt struck nick to now only a second had past and another bolt was rumbling to tell of its impending descent. nick had no time to fully heal himself as no more than a second later the second bolt twice as large as the previous shot towards him forcing nick to coat his fist in his fiend energy and punch at the bolt in hopes to minimize the damage. like last time this bolt collided with nicks fist only it was greatly weakened before it started to damage nicks body. in this way nick knew that he could use his fiend energy to weaken the blows but in order to refine his physique being damaged was inevitable. thankfully the creation energy that was left behind after the damage was able to repair nick even further than before since not as much damage had occurred.

soon an even larger bolt struck and nick clashed with it ferociously but his body was scorched black from head to toe from the rampant energy giving him a dreadful appearance. this clash occurred much like the previous tribulation with a total of nine bolts each twice as potent as the last an after it was over the cloud vanished as though they were never there to begin with revealing a scorched black skeleton with steam rising from it in a terrifying visage that made millea shudder to look at as the only thing that separated this skeleton from a destroyed corpse was the faint life signal coming from it. miraculously millea watched as the blacked parts seemingly shed a layer to reveal silver bones before organs and flesh rapidly grew on the frame each seemingly perfect before a layer of steel colored skin cover the flesh and eyes that had just been regrown though some changes had occurred from the previous body as the tail was slightly thicker with more muscle and the horns had grown from a mere centimeter to an entire inch in length . the claws on each finger and toe had changed from a dark black to a metallic grey and the now regrowing hair was a brilliant ruby red.
