Dragon X Deus

"You are quite interesting, dragon. I can't help but wonder who created you." Zeus remarked. His grey eyes inspected the newly arrived dragon.

Pulling himself out of the sea, Ghidorah eyed his new opponent. He had expected Zeus to open fire upon him immediately, so seeing the King of the Gods leisurely reclining on a rock was quite the sight. Especially when Zeus was very different from what he expected.

"You can't be naturally born, after all, you are far too weaponized for that." He indicated toward his spiked tails and other things hidden from view. Like his gravity beams and absorption ability.

"Maybe I should rethink my preconceived notions about you, Zeus. You are not the god I expected." The middle head of Ghidorah reckoned. If he knew about his abilities then he took the time to watch his fight.

His words gained a shrug from the god. "Eh, if you thought of me as a man who sticks his dick into everything then you were not far off. However, if you thought of me as incompetent then you were indeed mistaken, dragon." After all, one cannot rule with power alone.

Sitting up straight, Zeus's gaze turned serious. "Let's skip to the important talk, shall we? I want to know who created you and what are your intentions for my kingdom." The sky began to darken. "Your answer will decide your fate."

He thinks that Ghidorah is an artificial dragon. Which are created when gods use long-forbidden methods to shape energy into the shape of a dragon. An act that is heavily frowned upon but not underheard of in this day and age. The greatest example of this is the creation of Angra Mainyu, Azi Dahaka.

"... To be honest, I do not know who created me. I have no memories regarding the subject. However, I came here in search of something of importance but now I have been wrapped up in the scheme of a woman who does not know her place."

The first question threw Ghidorah for a spin as he had always wondered if Ghidorah was some experiment from a faraway galaxy or just from a race of alien creatures. But he had no way of answering that so he simply told the truth.

"I see, then fighting was inevitable. A shame, I was just starting to like you too." Zeus stood up and stretched his arms. He did not want to have to kill this dragon, he would be fun to keep around, but if there is a bigger plot at play then he must finish this fast.

"A shame, indeed." Ghidorah agreed.

Just then, they released their auras in full. Darkening the sky fully and covering Greece in darkness. Blue and yellow lightning arched in the sky and fought for dominance. While the creators of this hurricane stared at one another. Waiting for the other to make the first move.

Something that Ghidorah was not going to make, Zeus realized. The dragon knew that Zeus held the advantage here and that any wrong move could lead to his death. But Zeus, on the other hand, possessed no such worries.

So, with a smirk and a crack of thunder, Zeus appeared before Ghidorah. Surprising the dragon who could not react fast enough to dodge the lightning-enhanced punch that connected with his chest. Sending him back quite a bit and causing Ghidorah to cough up blood.

Cursing, Ghidorah could instantly recognize the cause of Zeus' insane speed. "You bastard! You not only increase your speed with lightning but also manipulated the sky to remove the wind resistance!" His tone was both agitated and interested. "I would be impressed if it was not being used against me!"

This only gained a laugh from Zeus before their battle continued with Zeus blitzing toward Ghidorah once again. However, now that Ghidorah understood Zeus' technique, he cycled his own lightning through his body to contend with the god.

Allowing him to keep track of Zeus as he approached but soon found himself unable to dodge as Zeus manipulated the air to alter his momentum. Moving the god toward where the dragon had dodged and allowing to land his strike as if Ghidorah had not moved at all.

Making Ghidorah realize how outmatched he was here. The God of the Skies was just far too experienced with his power and too versatile for Ghidorah to keep up with normally. Even if they were roughly on the same power level, with Zeus being slightly stronger, Ghidorah just could not compete with the god's mechanisms.

Normally, that is.

With a smirk, Ghidorah called upon the fruits of his labor and manifested his magic circle. Causing the large golden heptagon to appear before him and emit a large transparent beam that Zeus had not expected. Allowing it to impact the god.

Who suddenly felt as if the world had been dropped on his shoulders. Sending him to the ground and creating termer through it from the weight alone. "Gravity magic..." was all Zeus got out before Ghidorah's tail slammed into him.

Its spiked tip ripped into his flesh as the god struggled to push it off of him and when he finally was able to overpower the tail, three Red Gravity Beams slammed into him. Increasing his already increased gravity and incinerating his flesh from its potency.

This could very well be the end for Zeus. In a battle like this, either of them could die in an instant if they let their guard down and Zeus just was not expecting the dragon to utilize magic in any way other than to enhance the abilities he already had. Leading him to this situation.

However, the King of Gods still has one more trick up his sleeve. Holding his hand out, Zeus manifested his ultimate weapon. The very same one that he used to slay his father all those years ago. The Master Bolt.

Upon its arrival, all of the negative effects that had been placed on Zeus, the increased gravity, were dispelled. Then, Zeus hurdled his Bolt toward Ghidorah. Pushing back the Red Gravity Beams until the Master Bolt pierced into Ghidorah. Sending him to the ground with a roar of pain.

Summing his Bolt back, Zeus watched Ghidorah thrash around in agony from the electricty that coursed through his body. Until that electracy was forced out by a surge of Ghidorah's power. Though, the dragon did not stand up.

Raising an eyebrow, Zeus watched Ghidroah's form begin to glow a brilliant golden light before it shrunk down and the light ceased. Allowing Zeus to see the now humanoid Ghidorah that stood in the place of the large dragon.

"My my, I did quite the number on you..." Zeus chuckled. Gazing at the large hole in Ghidorah's midsection that was rapidly closing.

"The same could be said about you, Zeus. The only difference is that mine is healing." Ghidorah countered. The wounds that his tail and gravity beams had inflicted upon Zeus could be seen by all.

"Oh, this?" Zeus pointed at himself before he was encased by a green glow that faded along with his wounds. "Don't worry about it. I must ask, though. What's with the change in form?" he asked curiously

They began to circle each other as Ghidorah shrugged. "You're too small. Makes you harder to get ahold of. So, I decided to even the playing field. Besides, I am just as strong in this form as in my true form." He proved as he trailed his clawed finger over his healed abdomen, creating a sound similar to metal grinding against metal.

"I see. Though I hope you know that this change is pointless. You will not escape your death." Said Zeus as his Master Bolt crackled in his right hand. Drawing Ghidorah's attention to it.

"I do not think so, Zeus. You have just begun to see the depths of my power and that weapon of yours will be in my hands when this is over. Of that, I am certain." Ghidorah boasted.

Angered at his words, Zeus ended the circling. Blitzing toward Ghidorah with a speed greater than before, his master bolt being the cause. And yet, Ghidorah not only dodged this attack but counterattacked as well.

Ducking under Zeus' wild haymaker, Ghidorah connected a powerful left straight to his chest that ironically knocked the air out of his lungs. He continued with his accelerated pace and grabbed Zeus' face before slamming it into his knee.

Sending the god stumbling back as he clutched his broken nose. Confused as to how this increase in speed was even possible. The dragon had not been holding back so Ghidorah being able to keep up with his max speed should have been impossible.

Even so, when Zeus' raised his head toward Ghidorah after healing his nose, the dragon was upon him once again. Landing attack after attack. Jab after jab until Zeus was finally able to figure it out when he noticed the magic circle on Ghidorah's chest.

"Time magic... You are working with Hecate." Zeus realized with a start. His shock brought laughter from the dragon.

"Indeed!" Ghidorah admitted with sadistic glee. "You gods abandoned her. Leaving her open for foreign intervention and I am glad I took the chance. Especially when she was able to teach me a branch of magic that only she knows."

Time Magic. A branch of sorcery that Hecate created after communing with the Titan of Time, Kronos. Who had taught her the inner workings of the subject in exchange for her fealty. However, now that the Titan King is dead, that loyalty means nothing.

"I should have expected this." Zeus sighed. Cursing his past self's idiocy before turning his attention back to the fight. "Either way, if she taught you magic, then this fight is far from over!"

Their storms now cover all of Greece in their battle between blue and yellow. Which only increased as Zeus' aura grew excited. Having tasted battle for the first time in centuries, Zeus was beginning to ignore his responsibilities as a king. That he needed to finish this fight fast and instead became blinded by the thrill of battle.

Which was indeed not going to end soon. Not when Ghidorah could not devour his power. Which he found could be resisted with pure willpower when he fought the Kraken. Something that Zeus had in spades.

This only means that Ghidorah must break down Zeus' will until there is nothing left and judging by his increasingly destructive aura, he was more than happy to do so.
