Hello, readers.
I wanted to note that Kagome won't be in the harem. However, if you've seen Inuyasha, you'll know which character will be based on this chapter.
Also, Dianthus may or may not interact and change the main plot of a world. Since he is an OC with no knowledge of these worlds, he wouldn't be invested in these characters and worlds. He will only change and interact with those he takes an interest in or if they approach him.
Of course, I'll attempt to make those changes enjoyable. Many worlds will be changed as I get annoyed by characters that refuse to change the plot for circumstantial reasons. The changes will come from a character with no knowledge of the plot, so they must make sense.
As always, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

"What a beautiful day," Dianthus said as he lazily stretched his body.
He was sitting on a large boulder in the center of a clearing. Dianthus could hear the soft trickle of running water from the nearby creek. The surrounding grass billowed in the cool breeze that occasionally blew through.
Creeping up the edges of the boulder were many red Bougainvillea flowers. They encompassed Dianthus as if to protect this tranquil moment, using their many thorns to ward off invaders.
Those who considered themselves artists would find themselves enthralled at sight. The view was indeed a work of art. However, the smell of rotting flesh ruined this peaceful image.
Many corpses were in the process of being devoured buried beneath the tangle of thorns and vines. A myriad of insects gathered upon the bodies of the recently deceased for a quick and easy meal.
They ravenously tore through the flesh, satiating their hunger. Many ripped off chunks of meat to carry back to their nest. Even insects that usually preyed upon the others instead spent this time eating the corpses.
The smell wasn't an issue for Dianthus as the flowers actively sought to block the scent from reaching him. The plants even went as far as to increase their production of aroma compounds.
"Inuyasha! That man has multiple fragments of the Shikon Jewel!" exclaimed a nearby voice.
Dianthus turned towards the source of the shout. On the nearby dirt trail, there were three people. Two of which were demons, and the third was a young black-haired girl riding a bicycle.
"Stay back, Kagome. It reeks of death near that man," said the white-haired demon with dog ears. "Hey, you! Better hand over the jewel shards," the demon flexed his hands and stepped forwards. "Otherwise, I'm gonna have to take them from you."
Dianthus ignored the loud yokai and instead stared at the girl named Kagome. Noticing his staring, Kagome blushed. 'Oh no. It seems like he's attracted to my beauty. What'll I do if he falls in love with me? I mean, he is kind of handsome.'
"Kagome, snap out of it." said the small fox demon.
"Stop ignoring me, you bastard!" The white-haired demon jumped towards Dianthus, brandishing his claws. "Iron reaver soul stealer!"
"Inuyasha!" shouted Kagome, surprised at his sudden attack.
The flowers surrounding Dianthus reacted immediately towards the threat. The flowers wove through each other, erecting a wall to block Inuyasha's attack.
Seeing the flowers move to block him, Inuyasha didn't stop his attack. After all, how could mere plants resist his yōki infused claws?
Contrary to his expectations, he failed to cut through the flowers. Inuyasha landed and prepared to retreat. However, before he could jump back, the vines whipped forward and wrapped around him, binding his arms and legs.
Inuyasha struggled against his bindings but failed to free himself. "What the hell are these plants made of?"
"Inuyasha! Are you alright?" yelled Kagome.
"Yeah, I'm doing great!" replied Inuyasha sarcastically. "What do you think? These damn plants are tougher than they look."
"I'll help— Ahh!" Kagome screamed and fell onto her rear. Dianthus appeared in front of her before anyone realized he had moved.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled.
"Get away from Kagome!" the fox demon shouted. "Fox magic! Spinning screw top!"
The little fox unleashed a spinning top upon Dianthus. As it approached him, it grew substantially in size.
Unfortunately for the fox demon, Dianthus calmly caught the top, causing it to spin uselessly in his palm. He then snapped his fingers using his free hand. The Bougainvilleas responded, and many of the vines shot towards the fox.
"Shippō! Watch out!" Kagome called out. However, Shippō received her warning too late.
"W-Whoa!" Shippō yelped.
The vines wrapped around his tiny arms and legs, binding him in the air. Once Shippō was bound, he could no longer employ his illusion. The top lost its size, leaving a small toy resting in Dianthus' hand.
"Bastard! Let me go!" Inuyasha shouted. "I'll tear you to shreds!"
"Let go of me!" hollered Shippō.
Dianthus sighed in annoyance. "You're too loud."
He snapped his fingers once again, causing a thin translucent barrier to cover the two bound and yelling demons. Once it was quiet, Dianthus turned back towards Kagome, who still rested on the ground. He threw the toy aside and crouched down to observe the girl.
"Hmm..." Dianthus hummed. "Your soul is fascinating."
"Wh-What do you mean?" stammered Kagome.
Before Dianthus could respond to her, his thoughts were interrupted by an excited goddess. [Dear, stop messing around. I have a surprise for you.]
Semiramis' words immediately piqued Dianthus' curiosity. [What's the surprise?]
[Meet me in your domain, and you'll know.] She responded, refusing to tell him through the transmission.
Dianthus sighed and shook his head. His actions confused Kagome as she was unaware of the conversation he had just had. She believed this meant that he was refusing to tell her.
Dianthus stood up and removed a small pouch that hung around his neck. "Catch," he said as he lightly tossed the bag to Kagome.
Kagome hurriedly moved her hands forward and caught the pouch. When she opened it, Kagome saw five small fragments of the Shikon jewel resting inside. Two were black, while the other three were their natural soft pink.
"You're giving me the jewel shards?" Kagome asked.
Her thoughts began to wonder, 'Did he really fall in love with me?'
Dianthus shrugged his shoulders. "You seem to desire these shards more than me. I would recommend that you don't collect them, but you shouldn't have any problems considering how pure your soul is."
Dianthus snapped his fingers, causing the flowers to drop the two demons. At the same time, the soundproof barrier dissolved.
"Until we meet again," said Dianthus as violet flower petals engulfed his body. He could no longer be seen as the petals scattered in the wind.
"I wonder who he was." Kagome wondered aloud.
"Hmph. If I see that guy again, I'll kick his ass." Inuyasha grumbled.
"I'm just glad he's gone," said Shippō.
Kagome held up the pouch in her hands, showing it to the two demons. "At least he gave us the jewel shards."
"Give it here. I'll make sure they aren't a trap or something." Inuyasha said as he reached for the bag.
Kagome saw through his antics and yelled out, "Sit, boy!"
The beads around Inuyasha's neck lit up. "Ahh," Inuyasha exclaimed as he dropped to the ground face first, causing a loud thud.
Shippō shook his head. "You just never learn, do you?"
