Pre chapter A/N
So I decided to check out a few OP fan fics currently trending, I realized compared to those my story is going at a snail's pace. Well for the next few chapters I will be changing my writing style, a pick up the pace of the story. Do let me know after you read a few chapters of faster pace writing which one you prefer
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
During her visit to the Ryugu palace, Queen Otohime informed her that the poneglyph was in middle of the sea forest. She also told her professor Clover had once visited the poneglyph but did not tell her what it says, and would like to know what it says if Robin could tell her. Robin didn't promise anything as she said she wanted to read the poneglyph before deciding anything.
Robin also confronted the queen about using her as a tool to push her (Queen's) belief of "human-fishmen equality", she said she is not a hero but a selfish person who acts on her self interest. The only reason she fought the pirates was to show her strength so others would leave her alone and the only reason she didn't kill them was to avoid trouble from the palace. She told the Queen that even if entire race of fish-men and merfolk agreed to treat all humans equally, the same could never be said about the humans, and according to her if the Queen wants what best for her people she should stop pushing them towards the world's most deadliest creature , the humans.
Soon after that she left the palace , on her way out , a whale fish-man called Jinbe apologized for the actions of his brothers Hody and Along , and asked if Robin could do him a favor even though he had nothing to repay her with. Robin intrigued by the man's sincerity told him that she will consider it after hearing what the favor was. Jinbe knew he couldn't get a better offer than that so asked her if she could infiltrate Mary Geoise and help free the fish-man slaves there, as she was the strongest person he knew.
Robin agreed to help him by not doing what he wanted but by providing the strength he needed to do what he wants and do it himself rather than ask others. She told he get his two brothers too as all three of them would be trained. And told him to meet her near the Sea forest.
Robin reached the poneglyph and read it. She found it different from the one she had seen in Ohara as this one was an apology text written by a man from the surface named Joy Boy for breaking his promise to return to the island to carry out Noah's true purpose. As she didn't see any harm she sent this information to Revolutionaries and Queen Otohime.
While exiting the forest she met Jinbe , Arlong and Hody and told she would train them for six months and it was up to them how much they learnt.
During the training period Arlong and Hody's hatred for humans grew lesser and realized after learning about Robin's past that humans were equally cruel to each other as they were to others. They now knew their enemy wasn't the human race but the celestial dragons who saw fish folk as their pets and the Marines and world government who enabled them.
By the end of six months all three of them had improved tremendously, although Robin didn't know what kind of dangers awaited the four of them in Mary Geoise but she was confident all of them could escape if their plans went south.
hmm that was at least 3 chapters worth in my head. Oh well looks like I need to learn how to spew the right amount of bs.
no the fish-men won't be part of her crew, for now.
Hope you enjoyed
Have a great day ahead
